Places like this are always *really* good or *really* bad!!! This one was excellent, I was pleasantly surprised. The service was amazing. The food was standard casse-croute-type food, but it was delicious and great value. It's rated 3.9 when this review was posted, but should be much higher.

Edited to add - the hours are wrong. Google said it was closed at 5pm on a weekday, but it was definitely open.

Stopped in for a quick beer and snack, and this was wonderful! The restaurant owner was extremely friendly and accommodating, the poutine was delicious, and the beer was great. Prices were very reasonable. Great location near the falls.

This restaurant has new management and is now called Bienvenue. It is now run by Donny It is very close to Montmorency falls. After climbing to the top of the falls, we saw this sandwich and beer restaurant. It was a welcome break. The food was fantastic. I am vegan. Donny the owner had a vegan poutine with a tofu General tao sauce on the menu. . It was so so tasty. Apparently the restaurant was just taken over a few days ago. The current owner is Donny. He is a very lovely kind friendly young man who goes out of his way to accommodate you. He has changed the restaurants menu ..I highly recommend this restaurant.

I wanted to eat poutine there, unfortunately the poutine arrived in a plastic dish with waxed paper, finishing my poutine with a piece of paper in my mouth. Very disappointing!!

The new place had amazing poutine and burgers that tasted great and had many options to choose from. The General Tso's Chicken Poutine was my personal favourite!

Very pleasant and warm welcome, the person even made my partner taste 2 kinds of local beers so that he could choose, seeing that we were not from here.

Good little dishes that put us back on our feet after climbing the 480 and a few steps to discover the Montmorency Falls.

Thank you for your welcome and your kindness.

Since Michel's departure, the portions have decreased significantly.

Family refrain, clearly better elsewhere as a place!I have no idea about the cuisine because I didn't stay there long enough to taste it. As for the atmosphere, it was empty, how can I put it! For the service, a big 0.In an emergency, we stopped at this restaurant because my 5 year old boy had an emergency craving. Upon entering, I politely asked the employee if we could use the bathroom for the little one and with a sigh, the answer was: no, you have to consume! A restaurant dead at 4 p.m., which refuses basic access to the bathroom to a 5 year old child, that says a lot about the cuisine and the atmosphere! Clearly the restaurant Au Sommet de la Chute will be at the top of the places with the worst service I know. Shame!

Just a lovely place at the top of the falls. Had their cold court sandwiches and a draft beer. Owner sent out Pommes frites when the beer was a little slow to pour. Perfect place to come for a snack after climbing the falls.
