I give 3 stars but this is the 2nd time that I have not been served. 2 employees to serve at 9am. A long line. Before I left, 3 other customers left without being served. Last time, I came by around 4 p.m. and there was nothing left to offer... and they closed at 6 p.m. The employee told me it was often like that.

Very nice discovery during my stay in the municipality of Boucherville. The pastries, pastries and bread are excellent. Value for money we are there and for someone who lives in the greater Montreal area, we are far from exorbitant prices! I plan to come back!

Always a favorite bakery! This is the place where you can't help but stop. The almond chocolatines are especially good, but the breads and meals to eat on site are also tasty. Sensible prices for quality!

Unfortunately, like many places that have suffered from a lack of staff, the “new” team no longer represents what was previously unparalleled customer service. 4 employees who chat among themselves and take 2 minutes to serve a customer when I am the ONLY customer in the place and I am waiting, it is incomprehensible.

The quality of ingredients also suffers from the new reality of rising prices. As many have mentioned, wands are no longer worthy of what they used to be. They are much smaller and last less and less. The prices are exorbitant and no longer justify purchases.

Please don't waste your time responding “we're sorry, we'll do better” because that means you haven't read my message; take this time and train your employees instead.

If you come for the pastries and bread it’s good. If you are a coffee lover I strongly recommend this place. $10 for two espressos, at the first sip they were thrown in the trash. One of the worst espressos I've had in my life and I'm weighing my words

Excellent coffees and croissants!

Baguette bread is no longer what it used to be. No crunch, compact crumb. This is not the bread that will win competitions!! Very disappointed with this degradation.

The best breads and croissants on the South Shore, period. Good luck changing my mind.

The Love of Bread caused a small revolution 18 years ago when a Frenchman opened a bakery on the south shore, filling a big gap in this underserved market at the time.It was even said that they had the best croissants at the time (surpassed today by rivals, also French). This branch is the first, the first of 4 others, including Brossard which is now the factory for the satellite stores. Not pretty from the outside, the interior is surprising, bright, spacious, clean and lit, facilitating the movement (to the right) of customers.Prompt, friendly and cheerful service from chic and smiling staff. You will find cakes, breads and pastries as well. In terms of pastries, the choice was rather limited when I went to the store (see photo). My choice fell on the chocolate pear: bigger and better made than elsewhere, I recommend it, very good.As others have pointed out, expansion often dilutes the quality and I also noticed that the texture has lost its crispness, becoming closer to industrially produced bread. It remains an excellent choice for passing through the South Shore and one of the pioneers of bakery 2.0 which has now spread throughout Montreal. We hope they stay in the leading group.

I usually really like this pastry, but for Christmas I had the cream sugar log and we were all frankly disappointed; there was not enough cake and too much cream! It was impossible to portion well, it didn't hold a nice slice and broke. For the $47 price tag, we would be expected to get what we paid for. I have the impression that we wanted to save on the cake.
