Okay food. Some expensive some reasonable Loud place crowded. Not for me.
Finally, a great Portuguese restaurant not far from Montreal!
This place had been on my “must-try” list for ages, but I never found the right excuse to go—until now. And what can I say? It will definitely become my go-to whenever I’m craving Portuguese food.
I didn’t take enough pictures of all our dishes, but I think that’s a pretty good sign 🤪 I was too busy enjoying the food!
My friend and I went on a Saturday night without a reservation. I had called ahead and was told there was no need to book in advance. They were right. The place was busy when we arrived, so I was a bit worried we’d have to wait, but we were seated immediately. It was seamless.
Our waitress was incredibly friendly and patient. Since my friend and I planned to mostly order fish, and we can be a bit picky 😅😅 we had a lot of questions and she answered all of them with a smile, which made the whole experience even better.
Now let’s talk about the real star: the food 😋😋
Absolutely chef’s kiss from beginning to end 🤤
We ordered the grilled octopus. It was perfectly executed, and the chickpeas were divine. The garlic shrimp? Incredible. That sauce was something else! The Grelots potatoes were crispy and the mix with the arugula cheddar sauce was great. And the halibut? Perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious.
The only thing I would’ve loved was some bread 🙈🙈 but to be fair, we didn’t have the courage to ask for it 😂😂
For dessert, we had Pasteis de Nata and lemon pie. Both were excellent.
Kudos to the chef for beautifully executing delicious dishes. I’m already looking forward to going back.
I love this place!!! Is kind of our date spot with my husband. Food always on point!!
My wife and I had a wonderful lunch at Cervéjaria today to celebrate my birthday. The food was delicious: we highly recommend the garlic shrimp (crevettes à l’ail) and the caldo verde. The restaurant also offers a good variety of wines. I enjoyed a red wine from the Alentejo region, which is one of my favorite wine producing regions in the world.
Excellent!
Surprisingly delicious; GREAT FIND! We had the half chicken & shrimp with rice and vegetables… WOW.

Great food, great service, very accommodating. Wasn't too loud despite it being a busy night. Didn't wait too long to get our dishes and the server gave us updates. Definitely recommend the dessert.

An evening that promised to be good was tarnished a little by the tapas-size plates ordered. Grilled sardine OK, the octopus good but nothing more and the black pudding lacked taste and was mushy in the form of 3 fried balls. This was the second time we went there, the first time we were very satisfied. Possibly we made bad choices. The Portuguese wine was excellent. Impeccable service in a cozy atmosphere on the terrace.

Very disappointed!
We came as a family, all of Portuguese origin, with high expectations for this restaurant. Unfortunately, the experience was far from up to par. We had the tasting menu, sold by the waitress as a generous offering of several varied dishes from the à la carte menu and the blackboard. In the end, it was mostly a plate of vegetables with very little variety or meat/fish. To top it off, the waitress did not even offer us bread before the start of the meal, a basic yet essential in a Portuguese restaurant. Very disappointing for the price paid. We will not come back.

This is not my first visit, I have been visiting the establishment more or less regularly since it opened but I have never written a review. It's time to fix this.
We took the tasting menu, to taste a little bit of everything. We started with a dish on the slate, very fresh tomatoes, followed by clams, fish (delicious) with vegetables of the day (exquisite), beef pintxo, dates and chorizo. For dessert, Lemon Tart and Bolo de Bolacha, a type of tiramisu.
And of course, we will definitely go back :)

Nice little portugese restaurant, food was very good although the octopus was overcooked. Service was friendly, but a bit indolent at times.
