Lulu Bistro

I recently celebrated my birthday at Lulu Bistro, and overall, it was a good experience. We started with an appetizer, which arrived in less than a minute. While it was decent, it did leave us wondering if it was freshly prepared. For the main course, we had mussels and fries. The mussels were creamy and flavorful, though a bit gritty with sand.

One nice surprise was the complimentary crème brûlée they offered for my birthday – a fun and thoughtful touch that made the evening feel special. Lulu Bistro has a pleasant atmosphere and attentive service, making it a solid choice for a casual celebration.

Very nice experience at Lulu, it was my first visit and I was not disappointed. The fish and chips were delicious and my family also loved the flank steak and ocean mussels. Very good, courteous service from Line. We will come back! THANKS!

First time at Lulu. 2 beers, 2 onion soups, 2 mussels and 2 coffees plus taxes and tips come to $170+
Soup was a bit salty but tasty. The mussels were disappointing. Full of sand, lukewarm and lack of sauce. Told 2 staff on 2 occasions, no apologies nor offer to make things right. Our waiter was nice but lack of client service essentials. Although the restaurant ambiance is good, with this kind of $ vs quality, I won’t be going back.

Quick, efficient welcome with a smile. Reservation at the requested location, quickly taken care of by the professional barmaid/waitress, attentive throughout the dinner despite a good crowd, you never feel rushed or forgotten, excellent service with a small mention from the staff who was aware of the special moment for us. In terms of cooking it was quick but perhaps a lack of taste on certain mussel dishes (at will). Overall it was pretty good for a recommendation. Not disappointed.

Great restaurant to spend a nice evening. The choice of mold is incomparable to other places! You are sure to find what you like and discover new flavors.

Additionally, try the goat cheese bread starter: DELICIOUS! We also had the soup which was just as delicious.

The unlimited mussel fries (Tuesday and Wednesday) is really worth it: the portion is smaller which allows you to try 10 different recipes and you can accompany it with fries (obviously) or salad as often as desired.

I have been frequenting this establishment for years and surprisingly, I realized that I had never done any reviews on Google Maps, it is time to correct that.I must admit that my opinions have always been mixed during my visits. Sometimes good, sometimes less, sometimes an extremely long service, sometimes efficient, what doesn't change is the ambient hubbub of customers but hey, we can't do much about that.During the pandemic, I supported the establishment a lot, going there regularly to pick up my orders of mussels and fries. On this side, let's be honest, it's very good! I have never been disappointed.That evening, yet another visit to the establishment and we were greeted by the noise with the hostess. I decided to give the a la carte a chance instead of my usual Moules Frites. So I opted for a starter of grilled octopus and vegetables, which is excellent, a good portion to whet the appetite. I continued with the pan-fried veal liver (I love veal liver), a little disappointment there, the two slices were quite thin (I can understand) but a lot of veins which spoiled the pleasure a little. I finished with the lemon mousse pot which was excellent and in a reasonable portion. The service was attentive, it's important to mention that :)
