We visited Café du Théâtre earlier this week to a mostly good experience. When we were seated, I asked for breakfast menus, but we were told breakfast stopped at 11:30am. It was 11:36am and not crowded at all. But sure, definitely past the time stated, and there were still some good options on their lunch menu.

We didn’t have reservation but we were offered a table within 5 minutes on Sunday noon. The menu didn’t have a vegan option, but I got the veggie bowl without the egg and it was delicious. Good that the cheese was on the side, I didn’t see it in the menu. My family enjoyed egg Benedict and croque madame. I also got a decaf with oat milk. Too bad service was poor to say the least.
Server was polite and charming however quite absent in spite of a nearly empty restaurant at 7:30pm.
We got our wine after finishing our oysters, one of our three main dishes was forgotten, we had to ask for it and it arrived as 2 of us had almost finished eating.
