Disappointing Takeout Experience
I usually enjoy this restaurant, but my most recent visit was really disappointing. Last week, I dined in and got a full, generous portion of general Tao—so I know exactly what the serving size should be. Today, I ordered the exact same item Togo and upon inspection I could see the container was heavily padded with rice and much less of the dish.
To be sure, I asked for a plate so I could compare it to what I received the week before. The difference was obvious: this portion was barely half the size of my previous order. For the same price, that’s pretty frustrating… They did add more chicken to the box after I had to show them the portion difference..but my faith in this establishment is a bit tarnished- if I do ever come here again I definitely won’t be ordering it to go.
I really expected consistency, especially from a place I’ve liked in the past. Unfortunately, today’s experience left me feeling shorted and let down. I hope they address this, because customers deserve to get what they pay for.

Got general Tao chicken for take out: the guy who welcomed me was really sweet, but the lady at the cash register made me feel like my existence is a nuisance. Dreadful customer service on her end.
The food was really not that great, I liked the flavour of the sauce but a lot of the chicken bits were very soggy/slimy and gross texture wise, while other bits had a bit of a crunch to them and felt like they were actually cooked. Rice also didn’t feel fresh. Only good thing was the portion size (which is how it should be considering the price)
And frustratingly they don’t take credit nor debit cards, they are cash only, which is really an interesting choice to make as a business in 2025.

Ordered one Pad Thai dish for takeout and the server said they only accept cash. They were rude and we unfortunately had to leave since they don’t accept debit/credit. Seems like they lied just cause we ordered one dish during busy dinner period.
No dry noodles with wonton soup and the size of won ton soup is very expensive for the size.. also no receipt with my order and only cash is very suspicious!
