Rude staff. I like their bubble tea, so one star is for the tea. 0 star for the staff.

Update: I bought bubble tea again through DoorDash, and they gave me the wrong order. I ordered no ice and 70% sugar, but they gave me drinks with ice and 100% sugar. So they made my drinks wrong.

Update Aug2025: They suddenly stopped honoring no ice for pickup orders. I called to ask the reason why they keep adding ice. I don’t want ice in my drinks (I don’t care if it doesn’t fill to the top of the cup),but the staff said they can’t do that if I order through an app like DoorDash even though the option is available and they did it for more than 10 other orders i made since June and it was perfectly fine, but in the my last 2-3 orders, they just suddenly stopped honoring the no ice customization I chose. The staff also kept talking over me and interrupting me at first, I had to ask her to let me speak. She changed her reasons for it a few times too. I asked for the manager, apparently the manager is on vacations for 2-3 weeks and no one is in charge.

Update: Talked to the manager online, he said he cannot honor the customization asked and offered me a 25% discount (he offered me 50% off here when it’s public). It doesn’t even matter if it’s free, because I’m not getting the drink that I want.

Prices are reasonable, but service is really inconsistent. In store seating SUCKS too.
The tea taste isn’t bad but there’s just so much sugar, even with minimum sugar its all I can taste.
Edit: also giving discounts when clients are mad is a bad idea, cause people will leave bad reviews to get discounts, its a loose loose scenario.
But there’s lots of potential!!

Bad customer service, rude staff. They don’t honor drinks customization chosen. Staff talk over you before you can finish explaining your complain. The staff said the milk will go bad if they don’t add ice, but I never had this problem elsewhere (or for 10+ orders with them until the last few) when I want no ice to my drinks for pickup orders. How hot is the temperature in your store for the milk to go bad that quickly? Don’t even try to complain or ask for a manager, no one will answer. Better go somewhere else unless you don’t care about how they make your drinks at all.

Employees work there don’t know their product at all, I was ordering a smoothie named “mango splash” exactly that’s how it was written on the menu but the girl didn’t know what was I ordering, for her in certain behaviour I’ve shown the name on the menu yet she didn’t recognize but her colleague helped her to understand what is a “mango splash” but the girl was so rude and not apologetic, she was acting so arrogant and so unprofessional! I don’t think I’m ever going back to this place again!

Bad service, I brought my two little daughters for a drink and it happened that we arrived at 9:00pm and the worked turned us out although there were anther 2 people there, the store might close at 9 , the door should be closed not to allow us and then kick us out, our order for only two kids could take an extra 5 min and it should show a better costumer service than showing this attitude.
I even asked her that it is only one order and the kids felt so bad since they were hoping for a stroller after this hot day with a drink. Trust me most people look for kindness rather than being fed.

My favorite bubble tea place in the area. The original pearl milk tea is really good. Not too milky, not too sweet. Their waffles are pretty good as well

I went to the store on a hot summer day expecting something refreshing but instead i was met with a hot wave of heat (hotter than outside), which is crazy because it felt like 35 degrees outside. The air inside was humid, hot and uncomfortable to breathe in. Other customers like me were rushing to get out as soon as we ordered. I just can’t imagine how it is like for the workers there, having to work long hours in these conditions, makes me wonder if it even is an appropriate work environment. Very disappointing.

I visit this Gong Cha in Brossard from time to time because I genuinely enjoy their drinks and waffles. However, I’m honestly shocked at how hot and uncomfortable it is inside the store. It feels like there hasn’t been proper air conditioning for years, and in this kind of summer heat, it’s absolutely suffocating — both for the customers and especially for the staff who have to work long hours in those conditions.

I truly feel for the girls and the rest of the staff working there. It’s unacceptable for a well-known brand like Gong Cha to ignore basic ventilation and comfort. The heat inside is unbearable — no customer should have to rush their order just to escape the stuffiness, and no employee should be expected to work in such an environment.

It’s disappointing because the quality of the drinks is good, but the atmosphere is honestly unpleasant. I hope management seriously addresses this issue soon because this location has potential, but they are losing customers due to such a basic and fixable problem.
