We brought our large dog for his usual monthly grooming. We always book a specific groomer with very clear instructions. When we arrived to pick up our dog we were very disappointed to see the awful haircut he received. The usual groomer that we booked quit that morning. No one notified us. They didn’t look at our file to understand the grooming to be done. They explained that the groomers are all subcontracted and don’t actually work for them therefore nothing they can do. Basically, too bad so sad, pay up.Thankfully hair does grow back but my confidence in this place will not.But I hear the food is good…

Great concept, nice place, big variety of food, but service was very slow and passive. Looks understaffed. Food is good but not great. We didn't use the dog park, but was not impressed by the looks of it. One staff member sitting on a chair looking at his phone while dogs room around. More dynamic staff and quicker service would be a nice improvement.

As soon as I enter the place, I felt different and realized it is not a hot dog fast food restaurant. There is no Hot Dog served here. Entrees, Plates, Salads, and Pizza full meals are served here. Bring your dog to the table and eat food or put them in a special dog care, a place beside the entrance hall.While Speaking to the Management they inform me “For the comfort of your dog, Hot Dog et Cie offers an Indoor dog park guarded by a dog trainer, Dog Park Daycare Short and long term, Raw food for dogs and cats, and Professional grooming by appointment’’There are free Wi-Fi too.They were very nice and polite.

Wow! I enjoyed my breakfast with my little dog! Excellent service too. The food is tasty and big portion. You can have a seat outside, nice terrace. I suggest to the dog lovers.

After reading the last comment,Makes me feel better about the management's rude attitude.I heard they are changing owner , very good thing because this place decreased in quality.I will go back only when new owners take over.For now....yucky !

I love this place! I go for the indoor dog park and overnight dog hotel. My chocolate lab has been going since she was a few months old and is treated so kindly by staff. Overnight fees are very reasonable!

So happy this place is for sale. Last time I went was before COVID, but it was the current owners and I see the issue is still there.They treat their staff with obvious neglect and abuse and the staff in return is unable to give more than a minimum service. Nobody working there looks really happy about it and it's a dog café!Hopefully the new owners bring in more human service. Giving 5 stars for the staff who bends over backwards even when they are so severely short staffed.
Super kind staffs, my puppy is super shy and scared when he wants play with others .they always take care of charlie , welcoming him with warm hug . My boy really loves them

I am very disappointed in the service. I have been going here for many years with many dogs and the service and professionalism has really decreased over the years. They had a first class service but not anymore. The gentleman who cut my dog was quite short and rude when speaking to me. I just noticed on top of his haircut not being very even that they did not cut his nails which I find very odd.I will say the young lady at the desk was very kind and nice.I would have definitely referred people to this establishment but not anymore. My last few visits have been the same. There is always some issue and at $70 I expect at minimum good service and some type of professionalism.I see a lot of negative comments recently and before they used to be positive. I hope for the owners that they can figure a way back to making the experience about the dog and owner and not about the dollars only because it’s not a sustainable model.I am just overly disappointed because I have seen this business go from great to bad, from professional to disrespectful.I normally wouldn’t take the time to review negatively but this I felt was necessary.

The space is very well designed. Spacious and comfortable. The care taker was attentive, cleaning, mopping and ensured all the dogs were OK in the park. As for the restaurant... I can't say the food was memorable. In fact most of us didn't bother finishing our servings.

The concept is awesome, staff is friendly, the food is good. Portions are pretty big. If your dog likes to play around you can leave her in the play area or she can stay with you at the table as well.

I have a Labrador that is full of energy. He likes to play with other dogs, and he is used to going to different daycares and dog parks. He is very friendly.He used to go to HotDog & Cie in 2020. One day, they told me that he was “too energetic, and while other dogs were calming down and sleeping, he wanted to play”Well, he is a dog at daycare. He shouldn’t be sleeping; he should be playing.Anyway, after that, I never brought him again to HotDog&cie. This Sunday, we decided to go for a brunch there and wanted to leave him playing in the meanwhile.After giving his name, the employee told me that he wasn’t authorized to go to the daycare because he disturbs other dogs. Like, what?So you want to open a daycare for dogs to sleep or behave like robots? As far as I know, the place is made for them to play and spend energy. Not sleep, not calm down, not behave as you wish.I don’t recommend this place to anyone. It’s a SHAME that you act like that.And by the owner's answer to every negative review here, I’m not surprised by their employees' lack of education and professionalism.
