I Am Pho Brossard

I did the shrimp spring rolls and pho tai. The sauce with the rolls was just like thick sugar goo (no peanut flavour) and the broth for the soup had no flavour except for salt (none of the lovely aromatics of cinnamon, anise, cloves or cardamom that are the trademark of a good pho). Noodles were overcooked. Did not include limes, beans sprouts, Thai basil or any sauce 😒 However, the service was friendly, the packaging was innovative and the beef was of good quality but sadly most of the order went in the garbage.

I was looking for an authenthic Bún bò hǔe, tried my luck dropped in to this place “I am Pho Brossard. “It turned out to be the most original delicious bowl of noodle I had ever eaten in Montreal!! Will definitely going to be my regular visit place.

Ordered Bun Bo Hue. The soup was good like others but the meat was overcooked that it was tasteless. This store is new but seems like it is not taken care of. Spoons and chopticks are too old that you can see the yellow dirt on it. Maybe will not coming back.

I ordered lunch on a weekday takeout, I ordered Bun Thit nuong, they were so cheap with the quantity of Bun! Bun is the least expensive to the meal and I only got a so small portion of Bun! Never seen this before!

Disappointed and done

We’ve been loyal customers for years, but this was the last time. They keep shrinking the protein portions, and today was just insulting. We paid full price and got only two tiny pieces of chicken. When we brought it up, they gave lame excuses, first blaming our noodle-to-rice swap, then saying the chicken was small.

We made the effort to go back to the restaurant, and all they did was add one extra piece — as if that made up for wasting our time, gas, and patience. No compensation. And yes, we still tipped.

Protein is the main value in the dish — stop charging full price for scraps. You’ve officially lost long-time customers.

The food was absolutely amazing! We had the #7 and #17 (apologies, don’t remember the names!) and 2 imperial rolls. The food was delicious, hot, and fresh. The staff were very friendly and the restaurant was very clean. Can’t wait to come back!

My goto place is closed on Mondays so I decided to give it a try. I had the large special pho. Not sure if because the broth doesn’t have strong flavor, the tendons and tripes had some smell which make one wonder if they are fresh. If you don’t order the pho with those ingredents you should be fine.

Are you looking for a good Vietnamese restaurant @ Brossard? I recommend the “I am Pho” restaurant. This restaurant has a menu with several choices of starters, noodle soups, grills and desserts. What I highly recommend ordering = egg rolls. They are the best, crispiest, flavorful, authentic Vietnamese, filled with toppings rolled with rice papers. The Pho soup broth is hot and delicious, good and generous portions of noodles and toppings. The grilled pork dish was well marinated and juicy. This dish was served with vermicelli noodles and salads. The 3 color dessert was delicious but I was expecting more @ red ruby ​​jellies, pandan jellies and beans and not jello. On that note, I was disappointed with my order. The service was fast and efficient. The welcome was very warm. Good advice to come from happiness to find good parking and a nice table in
the restaurant. In general, I liked it
my experience. I'm definitely going to go back there.
