L'Aurochs Steakhouse

I had been looking forward to go to this place for a while. Unfortunately the experience was disappointing. The food was good but the service was not to the standard of the high end restaurant this place claims to be. We ordered a bottle of 2021 Bourgogne. We were served a 2023 bottle, a much cheaper one. Now I understand inventory change and sometimes menus are not updated. But the waitress never said a thing, until I notice, unfortunately after we started drinking it. When I pointed it to her, she just shrugged it off. No apologies, nothing. We paid the same $70! At a minimum she should have pointed it out and given us the choice to pick something different.
As for the people bringing the food, they were pretty much shoving the plates in front of us without saying a word.
Definitely not a high place, doubt I'd go back!

$55 for a steak frites with tenderized beef? That’s a disrespect (and maybe a scam?) to use tenderized beef on a steak frites priced at $55. Just don’t! Stay away from this place. Everything else besides the main character of my meal was good.

Amazing steak taste and texture!
However i had to send it back because of cooking issue.
The mashed potatos were too sweet.
The pepper sauce tasted strange
The salade was very ordanary

Not my 1st time here, each experience has been different, but never up to the standards for the quality/price ratio, neither for the service. Over cooked filet that took 40 minutes (resto was less than half full on a Friday) Fries were greasy and looked like fast food, not what you expect on a $70 plate.
Simple drink order for the 2 of us, never asked for a double, did not look like a double, but was charged 4 doubles.
The one thing they do is pass with water, evet 10 minutes (I don't drink water while I eat, LOL)
Maybe focuss more on the important items.
May or may not give another chance to this place, did not see a Manager anywhere...
3***STARs was to stay neutral, total experience deserved less

Food and staff is definitely 5 stars. However the place is in need of a bit of care, chairs are damaged and the restaurant is now showing signs of worn. However, if you don’t mind about these small details, food is A1 and so is the staff

L’Aurochs Steakhouse is a solid go-to if you're in the mood for a classic steakhouse experience, especially after catching a show nearby like we did. The location couldn’t be more convenient, and the food hit all the right notes—perfectly cooked steaks, tasty sides, and generous portions. It was definitely on the louder side, so not the place for a quiet dinner, but the lively energy kind of added to the night-out feel.

L’Aurochs steakhouse was a great experience. I want to mention that the service was perfect, from the start to the finish. Even if we were a little group with one kid, the staff has been really professional and up to the task. The food was amazing, we had to try a little bit of everything and all I have to say is wow! As for the atmosphere really chic and class, love the decoration with the bottles and the steaks. Will come back

Totally overrated! Also overpriced for what you get on your plate. Went there for me birthday, 3 ordered filets at 69$ a pop! One received an end, one was overcooked and dry. At that price per plate you expect center cuts and at least 2” thick. Not worth it. Not a real Steakhouse. Shrimp cocktails and dessert were ok.
