This place is perfect for a good beer after work (happy hour), food is good and the music makes a good ambiance. Also the underground parking is perfect since it connects directly to the bar through the elevator. Very convenient in winter since you don't need to outside.

Cool place, great craft beer, had the IPA and it was perfect.
Food was ok, it could have been better. Nice poutine with rib meat but when I got it, it was cold.
Service was ok but the guys are a bit too chatty around the bar, sometimes you have to wait.
I recommend altogether, we were a group and most loved it there.

The service was very good and the food was delicious. It’s a shame the DJ wasn’t very friendly, if the music had been better, we would have stayed until the restaurant closed.

We had such a great drinking night at Le Balthazar in Quartier DIX30. The vibe was lively but still easy to chat, and the tap list was fantastic—so many Québec microbrews to try. We did a couple of flights, got spot-on recommendations from the bar team, and kept discovering new favorites. Snack plates (hello, nachos and poutine) were perfect for sharing, and service stayed quick even when it got busy. Exactly the kind of place you go for good beer, good music, and a fun night with friends. Would absolutely go back.

Food was delicious! We had a great time over all, a group that was pretty loud made it kind a meh 🫤 but that’s not the restaurant fault.

They have several TVs and it's great during sport events.
Reservation is recommended if you want to seat at a table. The place was full, but we got spots at the bar.

Every dish we ate were extremely salty and sour! Meat was not fresh, unable to swallow it after chewing and chewing. Worst restaurant meal so far in my life! Price too high for such bad food.

Food wasn’t bad but I hated the atmosphere. The band was playing rock music so loud I couldn’t hear the people sitting in front of me. It made holding a conversation impossible and honestly I’m not big on that kind of music. I don’t think I’ll go back.

From out of town, was recommended by friends, maybe it's just me but I don't think it's normal to wait over an hour for a couple of burgers...Also took about 20 minutes for a couple of beers, needing to ask the waiter a few times to remind him...Not overly busy at the time we went so please don't use that as a poor excuse. Once beer and food finally came, not even an apology or anything from the waiter. Pretty poor ethics from this establishment. Would not recommend at all, unless you don't mind waiting an hour for very average burger and microwaved fries.
