We had a very bad experience at LOV last Thursday. We arrived at 6:30 p.m. for dinner before a show at Manuvie Hall, with the intention of leaving at 7:30 p.m. Despite our warnings to the host and waitress upon our arrival, our dishes did not arrive until 7:35 p.m., when everyone around us had already been served, even those who arrived long after us. We had to eat our meal in 10 minutes so as not to be late for the show. It's a real shame, because the food was excellent, although we weren't able to fully enjoy it. We paid the bill in advance so as not to waste any more time. What a mistake. A $104 meal (not including tip) eaten in 10 minutes. Wow! Despite the offer of a dessert as compensation, this did not suit us, because it was already 7:30 p.m. and we had not yet received our dishes. A drink would have been more appropriate as a gesture of thanks for our patience, or even a full refund for the service error. In conclusion, LOV has lost 4 customers and at least ten people x 4 will hear about this disappointing experience...

My daughter chose this restaurant to celebrate her 16th birthday with 3 friends because it was possible to have a dish where not only did the food contain no gluten but all the utensils and work surfaces were carefully cleaned so that 'there is no trace of it. She was dazzled to receive for a rare time, in a restaurant that agrees to guarantee a safe dish, a splendid and delicious poke bowl style plate. They were served very well, treated with as much consideration as a group of adults (which is not always the case when teenagers go to a restaurant alone) and with a smile. They all loved their meals.

I tried lov in downtown Montreal about 2 years agoI was crossing their dix 30 location and thought of giving it another go. Sadly I was as disappointed with their food as I was 2 years agoThe servers are nice but the service is v v slow.One even forgets that if the food is good but the food is worse than the serviceI had the dumplings and gnocchiThe dumplings has more oil than fillings and the pesto gnocchi was chewy and with barely any pesto sauce.
