Used to the place with my family. The portions are generous and everything is succulent, a small downside for the octopus. An unparalleled, professional and courteous service with Jade. The only negative point is actually, as many mention, the water that you have to pay for.

I have never seen such a relationship with customers. First of all, we called on Wednesday 06.11.2024 to reserve a table. When the person answered the phone we asked for a table but she just hung up. We thought it might be a network issue. When we got there, I asked why she hung up, but she started laughing and didn't even answer my question. She only said, “Follow me.” So we decided to leave and go to another restaurant. This attitude is incredible. I will never come back. It's not professional.

We booked 1 month in advance for 5 people. When we arrived, there were 2 of us, the others were arriving shortly, they refused to seat us because there were not 5 of us.
We end up being assigned our table, we are seated in front of the door which opens every 5 minutes. Before we sit down we ask for another table as it is very windy and cold. The manager refuses us to change tables (we were not yet seated) on the pretext that they have other reservations. No table is marked reserved. They could very well have repalced us.
Already we are not happy because we have to keep our coat on during the meal because it is very cold. Note that the manager at the front works with a coat..
The waitress urges us to order drinks, she comes several times in short intervals. She doesn't smile.
There is a charge for water but it is not indicated anywhere, $4.50 on the bill. She did not mention it during her arrival speech.
My friend asks the waitress for a dry, unsweetened wine, the waitress gives us a recommendation saying that this Chardonnay was dry. She brings the bottle and lets you taste it. My friend tells her that it is not to her taste, that we had asked for a dry wine and that this one is very sweet. She asks if it is possible to change the bottle because that is not what we asked for. She refuses. So $55 for a wine which is not what we asked for.
The dishes are good, but very expensive for what they are. We had a pizza with truffle oil, we have never tasted truffle oil. Even by looking, there was no trace of oil on the pizza.
For dessert, we brought tiramisu because it was one of our friends’ parties. The tiramisu features a chocolate couli and crushed biscuits on the side. I ask the waitress if there are hazelnuts inside because I am allergic. She can't tell me. I understand it's sometimes difficult to know well. No problem, I won't take a chance.
She said to me: It doesn't matter, there certainly aren't any, you can take the same. I was shocked……how can you tell people with nut allergies to take a chance? This is unacceptable.
Adding that the table corners are metal and very sharp. I scratched my stomach and tore my shirt. It could be dangerous for young children.
In short, this was the last time we will go to this restaurant. It was only because it was a Friday evening and the other restaurants were crowded that we didn’t leave.

Absolutely NOT acceptable that I RESERVED a table and when I got there I had to wait ??? When I asked the manager told me that if I wanted to have " a good evening " and "eat here" I should calm down..
I understand delays but the rudeness of the owner is literally out of this world

Great service with Carol-Ann, if I had relied on the Google rate I wouldn't have come, but ultimately WOW!

This restaurant's greatest expertise is taking ownership of your money.
1. Water costs money. Even if you refuse the paid bottle of water, they refuse to serve you a glass of tap water. After verification, it is legal, but highly immoral and reprehensible.
2. Drinks cost more than at the Bell center.
3. Entries vary between $20 and $40. They can be shared, but I've never seen starters so expensive.
4. Pizzas are very expensive. For a ball of dough with ingredients, it's pure profit for the restaurant and they charge as much as a nice piece of meat at the keg.
5. The service is designed to get you out as soon as possible. Fast, efficient, see you next ASAP.
6. The music is loud and at a fast pace. Dance music with fast boom boom (high BPM). It's simple, it's to get you to eat quickly to make them increase the customer rate per hour per table.
7. I'm not talking about desserts, at this point in the meal I just wanted to leave the place as quickly as possible.
In short, this restaurant is greedy for your $$$, they are experts at maximizing profits and their proximity to the performance hall guarantees them an influx of new customers so they don't care about your satisfaction. Just look at the number of 1-star reviews.
I will never return to this place and my experience left me greatly frustrated which partially ruined part of my evening.

We went on a Tuesday and the place was empty but the staff was nice and the food was good yet a bit pricey. My friends went on a Wednesday right after lunch time and the place was closed. They specialize in wood oven pizza and pasta. It's also a supper club type spot where some people go for drinks on weekends mostly.

Already when we arrived (around 6 p.m.), the music was loud, but around 7:15 p.m., they increased the volume so much that we had to shout to hear each other. It was very unpleasant. I went looking on the internet to measure the number of decibels, because I told myself that maybe it was me who was tired or something. Well no! 110 db is equivalent to a rock concert or even a jackhammer.!
Furthermore, in the menu, there are the ingredients for the salmon tartare. We ask the waitress if it comes like that or with a side dish. She tells us no. The tartare arrives with hundreds of fish eggs! I'm not even exaggerating. The problem? It's nowhere indicated and my friend is allergic. There were black ones, but also red ones. We agree that on salmon, the red eggs do not flash. Oh and they don’t say it, but you have to pay for the water. They arrive with a nice bottle of water, but hello! $5 more on the bill! First and last visit!
Last thing. The toilets are on the 2nd floor. So not accessible to people with reduced mobility.

We had the polpettes and salad as a starter. Gnocci and burrata pizza as a meal. Generous portions. Besides the fact that we find it inappropriate to charge $8 for water with the busboys who fill the glasses with paid water all the time and not having the choice to tip at least 18% makes me extremely uncomfortable..., the quality of the ingredients is there and we return there for this reason.

Couple of days ago I went to Sofia, I had called them weeks prior for a reservation of 15 people. I decided to call them an hour before my reservation to confirm and they said I don’t have any reservations and they don’t know anything about it. The manager did accommodate us however pretty late than what I had planned. The service we received were not great, we felt like a burden being in that restaurant. I expected better attitude from the manager at least. We also told them NOT to cut the cake and the man in the kitchen did and YELLED at one of the waitress when it was not her fault.. it was very sad to see. Will definitely never go there again NOR recommend anyone going there. Horrible service.

we really liked the dishes we chose (a pizza and a pasta dish) and the desserts as well. However, the prices are relatively excessive, you have to pay for water and you are not informed when the bottle is offered. the music is super loud and it's quite difficult to hear yourself. Finally, the tip is required at a minimum of 18% without any possibility of choosing ourselves on the machine. the service was quite standard, we would have liked to be able to put the usual 15%.
