I visited the restaurant yesterday evening with my partner, and while the ambiance and decor were truly beautiful, the food experience unfortunately fell short of expectations.
Our server was warm, attentive, and very friendly which we greatly appreciated and want to highlight. The service was definitely a bright spot.
We started with the dumplings and pain poulet. Sadly, the dumplings lacked flavor, and the fried chicken was overcooked and dry. For my main course, I ordered the fish and chips, but the fries were cold and the fish was oily.I ended up returning the dish. I opted for the salmon spaghetti instead, but the salmon was undercooked and the pasta was barely warm.
What made it even more disappointing was that the presentation was beautiful, you could see the effort put into the plating. However, taste and proper execution are just as important, especially in such a stunning and elegant setting.
I truly wanted to enjoy the experience, especially thanks to the kind service, but the food quality did not meet the standard I expected.

We visited Vertigo Brossard as a family. The food itself wasn’t bad — decent quality overall. However, the biggest disappointment by far was the service. We waited nearly 30 minutes before anyone paid attention to us, even just to take a drink order.
The main reason I go to a restaurant is not only for the food — I can cook very well at home. What I expect is a welcoming atmosphere and attentive service, and unfortunately, Vertigo didn’t deliver on that. If you’re looking for an experience where you feel looked after, this may not be the place.

Awful experience
Server decides for you when you make a choice she gives you what she understands and obviously it’s the expensive choice.
I was fooled by the beautiful appearance of the restaurant but the service and the food are awful

Overall, it was ok, the waitress knows her job , however we're not sure if bread is normally included with the meal, but we had to ask for it after about 20 minutes of placing our order. The adults had wine while waiting, but the kids became hungry during the wait.

We stayed there for one hour and 15 minutes to get our food. They even didnt bring water for us during this time. We ordered chicken and two burgers and then we waited another 5 minutes to get the utensils then after food was cold and we spent another 10 minutes to get the food heated. Worst place ever in Canada. Never go back again and wont recommend it at all. I felt so embarrassed in front of my friend who I invited here.

We thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere and our food, the wine was great also... except that we had to serve ourselves the entirety of 2 bottles because our waiter brought the them and never came back. We had to ask the staff clearing plates to get his attention 3 or 4 times, we skipped ordering a last drink and desert because it took 30mins to even ask for the bill, and we had to ask one of the girls clearing tables again, and yet the restaurant was not that busy. Making drinks and taking shots with girls at the bar was more important than the table who spent over $100 each. Not an ideal first impression, especially because we had been waiting to try it.

Food was okay. The service was not great. No smiles, no asking if everything was okay and everything was super slow. We had to ask for everything ourselves. It felt like we weren’t welcome there and we were bothering them. Not sure if it’s because today was a holiday. We will not be going back.

Extremely disappointing experience – I won’t be returning.
The food was just okay, but what truly ruined the visit was the behavior of the waitress. She insisted I give a specific percentage as a tip, which was incredibly inappropriate and disrespectful. It made the entire experience uncomfortable.

We had an incredible time while visiting the city and celebrating Father’s Day! The food and finish space was wonderful but what pushed the experience over the ends was the fantastic service! Corey our waiter was phenomenal, with timing, requests and friendliness! A top notch dining experience!

We had mixed feeling about our visit to Vertigo. The food was really good: oysters, beef tartare, beet salad, octopus salad, a nice bottle of red wine, croissant bread pudding. We liked the atmosphere, although the music outside was a bit loud. But the service was disappointing. We were there at happy hour time on a Friday. We sat outside. It took way too long for our waiter to take our order. We even considered leaving. And then there were a series of little mistakes. The person who brought out the food kept bringing the wrong food to the wrong table. My tartare didn't have the spicy mayo sauce it was supposed to come with. We exchanged graces with the couple at the table next to us each time it happened. So good restaurant that I will be happy to return to, but the service needs work.

This is how a restaurant should be run and operated. Fast service, friendly waiters, very very delicious food. Definitely the best and my most favourite in Solar Uniquartier, no wonder it’s always busy. Keep it up!!!

Shameful service, ok food!
Let's start with the positive side: the atmosphere is pleasant, not too noisy, and a television broadcasts sports matches (hockey in our case), if you are lucky enough to be placed opposite. End of the positive :/
The service is the big downside of our evening.
We had reservations for a Saturday evening. The restaurant was offering 2 services that evening, so we were informed that we had 2 hours to eat. Arriving at 5:45 p.m., we were immediately put under pressure 3 times to order as quickly as possible, even though our friends had not even all arrived yet. If at least it was done in a courteous manner and with a smile, but no, absolutely not.
In terms of recommendation, my girlfriend had the misfortune of asking the waiter for details on certain dishes. The waiter simply redirected her to the most expensive dishes in each category, without exception, and without explanation.
We take starters, which arrive in a reasonable time (the onion soup was also excellent).
Arrived at 5:45 p.m., our friends around 6:05 p.m.
The dishes finally arrive at 7:30 p.m.
We remembered that we only had 2 hours, but we hoped that the waiters/cooks would take responsibility and let us eat in peace. No. 15 minutes to eat our dishes, and the waiters were already behind us taking our plates while we still had the utensils in our hands.
For my part, I was even handed the credit card machine while my head was buried in my plate and my mouth full. This is ridiculous and shameful. No emotion on their side, no excuses, simply clearing the table and paying.
15 minutes to eat a main dish, and such an attitude are not normal situations.
Also, although the taste was good, the portions are too small for the price.
We of course won't be back anytime soon.
Avoid if you want honest advice and proper service.
