Very good service and delicious food! I almost had a flashback from my trip to Greece!

We asked for a starter and a plate, the calamari rings and the half chicken plate.
The calamari rings were extremely chewy, and it felt like having some kind of rubber.
The chicken plate was a bit better, yet the potatoes were over-spiced and overcooked that you could not hold it with the fork. The chicken taste was bland and did not have anything special.

[Update Jan 6] Email was sent, on Dec 30, to the provided address, followed by a reminded few hours before the review update, no reply whatsoever.

The welcome is terrible and the place is non-inclusive. We waited more than 10 minutes while the hostess finished taking calls... then as soon as she The hostess understood that my son was autistic suddenly there was no more room even though more than 50% of the tables were empty .. when we told her “look, there’s room,” she replied “it’s for groups :D” even though there were 6 of us (still a good group)!! Brossard is known for being an inclusive place!! You are new to us, you should change your policy!

We went to this restaurant on Christmas Eve around 3:30 PM, expecting a pleasant experience as the restaurant was listed on Google Maps as being open until 5 PM. However, the waitress informed us that even though the restaurant was technically open until 5, they wouldn’t let us sit in the dining area.

We were told we could only order takeout, but when we chose an item from the menu, she told us they couldn’t prepare it for takeout. It became very clear that she was just trying to brush us off and didn’t want to offer us any service at all.

The staff were incredibly rude, and the entire experience was disappointing. If you’re looking for a welcoming and accommodating place to eat, I’d recommend going elsewhere.

Had dinner there yesterday and our waitress tipped herself 15% without my consent. My receipt was $43.34. She handed me the machine so I could tap my card and as I was looking at my phone to set up apple pay, she took the machine back. Didn’t think much of it in the moment thinking she was going to make my friend pay first instead. Once I was ready to pay, she handed me the machine again and the total was $50.99 and I didn’t have the option to tip. I was perplexed, but tapped my card regardless thinking the $43.34 didn’t include taxes. I took a second look at the paper receipt and realized that the total did indeed include taxes and the waitress most likely tipped herself before handing me the machine. I proceed to ask why the amounts were different and she explains that it’s because of the tip I added. I explain that I never added a tip since I didn’t have the option. She proceeds to apologize and explains that she can’t reimburse me because the machine can’t issue refunds (Please note that I didn’t even ask for a refund). This was extremely inappropriate and the tipping culture is going out of hand. I want to add that I had the intention of tipping her regardless and I’m a VERY generous tipper but feeling untitled to people’s hard earned money is NEVER okay.

We were a group of 18 and we all enjoyed our service with Aristea. We will come back!
Food and coffee are really tasty and delicious. I highly recommend this place, you won't regret it!!

Group dinner for 12 people Saturday December 7. First time for me. Great service from our server if I remember correctly, Pierre Alexandre...the meal was excellent
