They were slow to take our order but the food came fast. They were gluten-free knowledgable! The poke bowls were terrific. I'd recommend they update their TripAdvisor profile for their gluten-free options.

If you like Japanese food, this is not a place for you. The sushi reminded me of trays of sushi you buy at your local grocery store mid-afternoon, but you just know they were prepared in the early morning. Dry, rubbery and tasteless. We started with a Thai soup but had to send it back. It was cold and tasteless. I will give the waitress full credit for her customer service skills. She asked if we wanted something else. We did not and just waited for our mains, which sadly, weren't much better.

We ordered the fried calamari and fried dumplings as a starter and the Shrimp and lobster Maki. We had to order an extra plate because it was such a hit with the family! Amazing food, good atmosphere and even though their English was limited, they really tried to chat with us and make us feel welcome. Very inclusive restaurant :) We’re locals so this will be our new family night restaurant.

My husband and I ate here tonight and being from Montreal, we know sushi. The rice was cold and tasted stale. The eel was smoked without any eel sauce but instead a bbq so it honestly tasted like bbq chips with the tempura! The shrimp and vegetable tempura was not a real tempura. It was so heavy and we realized after 1 bite that the batter was still raw! To top it off, their speciality roll of a general tao maki was covered in a bbq sauce that tasted like a store bought bbq sauce! The only decent roll was the plain salmon kamikaze and a roll with lobster and fried sweet potato. The server was sweet and apologetic but honestly this restaurant is terrible!
