Amazing pastries and latte, and smoothie bowl. I wish we could have tried everything because it all looked so good! Staff was very friendly and the shop is super cute!

The coffee and the vibe were good. We also ordered an egg croissant, it was so-so. The prices are what you expect for the location.

Nice place, coffee was light roast with more fruity notes. I usually prefer darker roast (which is what usually coffee shops serve). I wish I knew in advance, but it was still good.

Hi owner and the manager of the coffee. I understand running such a business is very difficult. You have the best staff. I am a new customer and would like to give feedback about them. After we finished our coffee that tasted awesome, I went to take my car far from your business. Today, my wife was in a dire situation due to high temperatures, and they helped her to refresh and recover. They go above and beyond to help her. When they treated my wife like their family, why not publicize their help. This shows that they prioritize the customers' satisfaction over making money.

Very nice coffee
Cool atmosphere
Very welcoming staff
Love that this place has a few vegan options. (To my great surprise, the cafe also doubles as a boutique that carries a plethora of vegan Montreal-based goods - notably from BKIND, Cocooning Love, Savonnerie le chat noir nu, DUNORD and Mimi & August.) When I called to ask about their plant-based selection, the owner, Marie-Jeanne, kindly informed me that their soup of the day was vegan and that she could season their crunch salad with nutritional yeast for me as an alternative to cheese. When she served me my meal, she told me that she (very thoughtfully) added pumpkin seeds on my salad to offer me extra protein, and that she will proudly start to offer vegan chili with tofu soon (perhaps already on the menu?). Moreover, she happily expressed of her own volition that she would invite my suggestions of vegan options to integrate into her menu, which was music to my ears. Thank you, Café MJ & Cie, for your openness in paving a plant-powered future that is reverent to our fellow earthlings!

The place looks cute and has many seats. We tried the smoothie bowl and the lemonade with strawberry syrup. The lemonade was amazing, but the smoothie bowl was a bit too liquid, it still tasted good though!

I’m honestly still shaken and incredibly disappointed by what happened today at this coffee shop. I walked in with my 3-year-old son who urgently needed to use the bathroom. He’s freshly potty trained and refuses to pee outside — which, as any parent knows, is a huge milestone and requires support and patience.
I kindly asked the female employee at the counter if we could use the bathroom and explained the situation. She said “of course,” and I thanked her. But as we were waiting, a male employee walked up to us and coldly asked if we were customers. I explained again that I had spoken to his colleague and it was just for my son to quickly use the bathroom.
He looked at me and said that unless I buy something, we had to leave.
I didn’t have my wallet — I didn’t walk in to grab a latte, I walked in because my 3-year-old was about to pee his pants. I was practically begging at that point. He still said no. We were kicked out.
So much for being a "human" coffee shop — that’s literally what it says on their Instagram. Human? Where was the humanity here?
If I owned a café and a mother came in with a desperate toddler asking to use the bathroom, I wouldn't think twice. It’s called compassion. Community. Basic human decency.
Instead, I left humiliated, angry, and holding back tears — all because I tried to help my little boy have some dignity. Never going back, and I’ll be telling everyone I know about this experience.
Great coffee in Chambly! The atmosphere is pleasant, the service always friendly, and the coffee excellent. We feel that the products are of quality. A beautiful place to have a good coffee by the water and relax. I recommend!
