I'm a big fan of the Lance et Compte series. What a joy to see that a pub bears the name of my favorite series! I enter there... I hadn't even opened the 2nd door yet when I felt like turning around.
I wanted to have dinner (lunch for the French). However, even though it is called a restaurant-bar, they do not serve dinner at this time of the year (August).
I needed to go to the little corner and the bartender kindly allowed me to go there. Thanks again!!!
As for the condition of the premises, this place needs love. Lots of love!

I ordered for take out this evening and the food was amazing! We had the Chef's Special Supreme and the Hawaiian, both of which were delicious. The supreme was a perfect amount of spicy and creamy, and the Hawaiian had a nice vinaigrette. The service was great and the staff were helpful. Can't wait to eat there again!
