Full disclosure, I used to work at the Bistro. Since my departure, I have continued to eat at the Bistro and purchase goods in the store. However, tonight we were a group of seven, we arrived at 6:20 to order food from the Bistro. On our arrival, the staff notified us that there was no food and the kitchen was closed. The hours of operation on Saturday are posted, at the Bistro and on their Facebook page, as 11h - 19h and on the website as 12h - 21h This is not the first time that I, and others in our party, have arrived well before closing to find the Bistro closed. Further complicating the issue is that we checked to ensure it was open more than an hour prior. In my opinion, this is not a problem with staff, but with ownership. The staff are amazing and the food, when available, is delicious. Irregular hours and the availability of goods have become increasingly sporadic. It is also my opinion that this problem extends into the store, as it often lacks the necessities. I cannot speak for the others in my group, but they have lost my patronage. From now on I will dine and purchase my groceries elsewhere.

Little review for the convenience store attached to the bistro. Incredible value for money. A chicken wrap easily 2x the size of fast food wraps with real chicken and plenty of sauce and veggies. We had taken 2 wraps for our hike but we only ate one. The 2nd will be our lunch today!

The bistro was closed that day. We ordered through the convenience store. The air conditioning was turned off, it was very hot inside. There is a super nice terrace with a beautiful view. The food was good and fresh.

An incredible experience at Bistro du Lac Lyster. The atmosphere was lively with Karaoke and the energy was high. A perfect blend of technology and usability. The local gastronomy is refined and delicious. To do again without hesitation every Friday!
