tout est bon mais le pain doré vaut le détour
Loved our stop here! The food is homemade the service is efficient and friendly. The home made pea soup was “ the best my husband’s ever had”!
Kid friendly nicely located between Quebec City and Montreal.
The food is mediocre, but appropriately priced. The worst, however, is the staff. My lady ordered a ham dinner, and asked whether she could have scalloped potatoes with it, since they are listed on the menu. She was told yes. What came was fries with melted cheese and bits of ham. She returned it, and showed the waitress on Google what she THOUGHT she was ordering, so that the waitress would understand she was not just being picky. Restaurant La Belle Québécoise offers homemade food, efficient and friendly service, and a beautiful atmosphere. Dishes are plentiful, good value, and not too salty. The homemade pea soup is a highlight. Conveniently located between Quebec City and Montreal, it's a great stop for a delicious meal. The restaurant is very quiet, and the waitress is lovely and very nice. It's a very good price for when you get stuck with hunger during a road trip. The service is good, and the atmosphere is pleasant. However, the cooking of eggs and baked beans could be improved, and the fruit portions were insufficient. The food has a lot of flavor compounds, and the poutine, French onion soup, and Canadian mix were good.
