The Fall additions were great, festive and delicious!
Excellent bomboloni BUT the store is really not in a good place. It is in a business area, not very well indicated which is too bad because if it was to be located in a better area they would be crazy busy. Their current location is not easily accessible if you dont have a car. They are 6$ each which is quite expensive but well worth it for a special treat (6/32$, 12/60$)
Parking: Small lot in front.

After hearing all the hype, had to go see if it was fact or fiction. Typically these fancy donut or pastry places offer a visually appealing draw, but fail to deliver in taste and quality. I’m happy to report not the case with Bomboloni Boss, no pun, but the proof is actually in the pudding (Belgian Chocolate Bomboloni)!
Firstly I will say, similar to other reviews you walk in and most of the display is empty, but fortunately they had a fresh batch of every flavour in the back so I was able to choose whatever I wanted. I was greeted by a sweet young girl who seemed to be working alone on a quiet Sunday, she was super friendly and helpful.
Now on to the hero’s the Bombolini’s. Simply put, absolutely delicious. And the biggest surprise of all was the amount of filling, it’s the first time I ever cut a “donut” open and there was actually A Lot of stuffing (pics don’t lie), plentiful and delicious. To make it even better, the dough itself was super fresh, light and also delicious; not too dense, and not overly sweet, a perfect marriage how the outside and inside compliment the final product perfectly.
The cannoli was great, the usual delicious ricotta and chocolate chip filling in a donut, genius! Very often the cannoli shell is hit or miss, no worries here. The pistachio was excellent and creamy, but could have used a stronger pistachio flavor, tasted a bit artificial. The star was certainly the Nutella, I mean how can you go wrong here, but what put it over the top was the amount of filling. Compared to many other places attempting to make a Nutella stuffed product, Bomboloni Boss “takes the cake”, and it’s definitely worth the premium price.
$30 for 6 is a bit pricey, but they are so delicious you quickly forget about that. Makes a great gift to bring to someone’s house. If you have a sweet tooth, don’t miss this place.

I don't know how this place makes money. Pretty sure it is a money laundering scheme.
We tried to drop by, but it was on a Sunday and it was an hour before closing. So I didn't think much of the fact that they had nothing in their display and refused to serve us. I thought it was a bit odd that the server didn't try to find anyway to get us to order for another day, but she was a teenager so I didn't think that was really her priority. She probably was tired and wanted to go home.
But I thought I'd give this place a second chance, nowhere does it say on their site that you have to order ahead of time, FYI. And they are on Uber Eats, so I figured I'd make an order. They cancelled the order and said they're not taking any more orders today. It's barely 2:00 pm on a Friday.
I'm sorry but this isn't me being entitled. I'm genuinely curious how this store in Pointe-Claire manages to make ends meet. You refuse people at the door and don't try to retain their services. You have a store front but refuse their orders in the middle of the day. I worked in food and customer service for over 15 years and this place has failed every test. I'd love to have tried these amazing looking donuts but someone is not taking this seriously and making it really hard to do. When you charge between $4.00 to $6.00 per donut, I have no idea how you're keeping this afloat.
Best of luck to you. We tried twice. There won't be a third attempt.

If you saw an ad on Instagram and are thinking about going, DON’T?
I found this place on Instagram and decided to check it out. Absolutely not worth visiting. The coffee is terrible — worse than McDonald's, if that's even possible. The dessert selection is limited, and even those aren’t worth trying. It’s easy to see why this place isn’t popular. Once you visit, you won’t want to come back. Save your time and go somewhere better ?

Tasted decent, nothing special, for the price it's not worth it, doubt this place will exist for very long at that price point.
Tip: make smaller doughnuts and charge less, volume is the only way to stay alive in the food industry.

I had visited recently with some friends during the weekday. We had ordered matcha lattes and found that it tasted more like milk than matcha, which I believe is because the server didn’t put enough. Then again, I believe he was also new to his job since their coworker was guiding through them on the process of making the drinks. Other than that, I had ordered a cannoli bomboloni and it was decent.
In terms of location, I would say it is a bit out of place. Parking is hard to come buy since certain sections are reserved for certain businesses. Not sure if this cafe had its own section, but my friends and I could not find it when we were looking for parking. As for the place itself, it is cute. No seating area though. It did smell like sewage went we entered the place—not sure if it was from an incident that happened recently. I would recommend leaving the door open if possible to aerate the place.

These are hands down the best bombolonis. I bring them to every event, and they always end up being the highlight. The staff is great, and their matcha lattes are easily the best in the West Island. Not to mention the owners are amazing people, definitely worth a visit!
