Ben there 3 times already. when traffic is to heavy , stop for a nice italian meal. Little place in a small plaza. nice welcome by the person who will also serve you. Nice cesar salad and the pizza was also delicious. They have a full bar Service was excellent

I think Da Mangione is going downhill. I have been here a few times and the food was always delicious. I was shocked when tonight I was turned away at 8:08pm. Google says 9:30pm was closing time, I would have never thought to call a restuarant over an hour to closing time to make sure they were still open.... I think it's ridiculous that you're only open for 5 hours on a saturday and only seat people for 3 hours or less. I paid for a $20 uber all for nothing. Save your time and money and just go to Natalinos they are open like a true business until 11pm.

Was turned away at 8:25 pm though the place is open till 9:30 pm on Saturdays . Only takeout. I understand if we walked in 30 mins before closing but it was over an hour before closing . Place was not busy so lots of tables available. Most restaurants close but allow seating up until that time, or within reasonable limits. An hour before closing is reasonable for the industry. Won’t try again! Not worth it.

We had veal that was dark brown and rubbery. I had shrimp scampi to be safe and they dumped red sauce spaghetti in the middle of my good scampi sauce. No Italian I know has ever heard of that and I eat amazing Italian food from many Italian restaurants all over NYC and NJ. The scampi could have been good minus red sauce in the middle ????

I will never eat here again. My partner and I have a sick baby in the hospital and tonight we treated ourselves to a night out, only to witness the chef have an awful adult tantrum where everyone in the restaurant could hear him yell and complain after I told our server that the food I ordered was way too salty. Minutes later, the older couple at the next table stormed out after complaining about the service they received and said that things have changed after Frank left. I don't know who Frank is, but I wished he was there tonight. Staff and patrons do not deserve to be treated this way by a miserable chef who, as I was paying for our confusing bill, said that he's been cooking for over 30 years when I told him that it was indeed me that sent my meal back. I told him he made us feel very uncomfortable and afraid after his yelling in the kitchen. Our very kind server said to not mind him and that he has being doing this for 8 years! So unfortunate, so rude and so unnecessary. Kindness is free but not your salty meal.

Google says the restaurant closes at 9:30pm. When I arrived at 8:00pm on Friday, I was told that they were closed. I honestly just wanted a quick bite to eat since there are not many Italian restaurants near the airport hotels. I suggest to avoid the inconvience and go to Focaccio. They are truly open until 10:00pm
