Our family has been longtime fans of Emeraude de Bangkok. Quality of food has always been excellent. Definitely recommend the soups, the peanut butter dumplings and the seasame beef!

Ordered for takeout. The food was good. When I went to pickup my order and pay, the server pressured me to give him at least 15% tip. He remarked "15%, 20%, or 30% please. Made me feel very uncomfortable.

Food was good but I wouldn't call it the best. Portions could have been larger.

Over many visits, I have had the pleasure to try their tom yum soup, mango and papaya salads, green and red curries, lemon chicken and fried rice.I have always been impressed by the quality of their ingredients and the depth of flavors for each of those dishes. It's also not everywhere in MTL that I've been served properly cooked glutinous rice with my curry.Definitely would eat again.

This is my go to "affordable" take out szechuan restaurant. The general Tao is good, the sesame chicken is even better, and the chicken fried rice is nice. We prefer takout over eating in. The service is good, and you can byob (depanneur right next door if you want a beer with your meal). The ambiance is OK, the inside is a little run down. Parking is difficult at meal time hours, there simply isn't enough space for the strip mall.Parking: Not enough space during peak times.

I ordered for pickup, once we arrived home we realized they had forgotten the garlic shrimp which was over 20$. They insisted we needed to drive back to the restaurant rather than have them delivered to us. I asked for that item to be given to us for free since it posed a major inconvenience, a 15 minute drive each way, but they vehemently refused and offered nothing but a lazy apology as if somehow their mistake was my fault. By the time we picked up the garlic shrimp, the rest of the food was cold, something I mentioned would happen, but the workers could not be bothered by this at all. When asked to speak to the manager, I was shown the door. Terrible way of doing business. For the cost of 8 shrimp you have lost a customer forever.

Food served (Fried squid and Pad Thai with shrimp) very good. The waiter (owner I think) very cold, no smile and no interest in the customers.

Good value for money. We had the meal for two which offered a nice variety.

Did takeout. Unlike seemingly all the other Asian restaurants around here this one actually has Thai dishes, not just the same General Tso's chicken and peanut butter dumplings. Ordering was easy, as was pickup. Food was hot, fresh and tasty. Not quite the Panang (Red) Curry I was expecting but a nice variation with fresh green beans, a reasonable amount of sauce, rice etc. Lots of beef, nothing to complain about. Would order from here again in a heartbeat. Very close to YUL airport hotels.
