Asked to buy 2 “animalerie” meals the cashier rudely told me that i am not a kid. I asked her is there a way for me to get nuggets the “adult way” she told me no you cant have them. I told her thats the first time ive ever been interrogated / denied to order something on a menu. She then told me “they are small” and i told here yea that is why i wanted 2. Then she told me that they are not affiliated with st hubert but owned by another company and thats their policy. Thats the first time ive heard a restaurant not accept a customer. I went next door to the burger
king to get nuggets…

All this in a rude and arrogant way.

Adding the followup to the review as it might be relevant for some people to know where their policies come from and their intentions.

i just had the call with the manager i guess. At least somebody from there called me. His response i found a bit disturbing and i might be wrong but i thought this should at least be known by other customers if they represent the brand. As per why they do not allow adults to take a kids meal he told me and i quote “airport employees used to take them as they are an affordable option and we dont want them to have that” which to me feels a bit wrong as that might be the only thing an employee can afford and also makes it feel like he sells those at a loss which is not the case food is food that person would have payed for it at the advertised price,to which i replied “ but i am not an airport employee” he then told me that that would be descrimination ( which not allowing a group of people to buy certain food feels like but whatever some discrimination is okay but not other. He also told me arrogantly and i quote “ we dont need to obey by sthubert rules and promotions as anyways we have the clients, do you understand ? “ which again i found very rude of him. When speaking about the cashiers behavior of rudely telling me their policy he said “the cashier didnt do anything wrong she explained to you our policy”

I find all of this a bit odd for sthuberts image as i have always had positive experiences in standalone locations.

Couldn't believe they refused to sell us a kids meal if a child wasn't their. Does that mean a child/kid can't purchase an adult meal?

Not sure whether it is rule or not but when we ordered two kids meal, the cashier demanded to see the kids. They were already seated with others. Felt very disturbing. Not sure it is the right way to approach. Because if we order online should we upload pics of our kids? Can some shed some light please?

Not a huge fan of "bread crumb style" breading, more of a tempura style fan. But for that style this was the best you can ask for. But I will say I usually expect the tempura style from places that are specialized in fried chicken, it's just a better coating that's more pleasing to bite into.

Fries look like they're generic but turns out they're top shelf ?

Walked in to try out the airport version of st Hubert. The menu was unclear so asked the person at the cash (around 8:30 August 17) is that all they have in the menu cause I don’t see some of the items the person asked me “what do you mean you can’t see”, when I said like I don’t see chicken so I don’t understand and the person said “what do you mean you don’t understand”. By this time I had to call out your staff for being condescend and not supportive. I walked out completely unsatisfied and frustrated and the person did absolutely nothin and went back inside. At these prices, answering people is the least you can do. The person needs to be retrained on how to serve guests. Awful! Hope someone reads these and trains the staff bette!!

I was at the terminal for my flight. Since I still have a can of Arizona lemonade with 5%alcohol in my carry-on, I need some ice to drink with. The lady at this spot just gave me a small cup and said she couldn't really charge me so it's OK to have some for free. I tipped her and her colleagues in the tip jar. Feel very grateful. Now I can enjoy my drink.

I wish there's St-Hubert out in western Canada. Always stop by for take out order whenever passing through YUL.

I wouldn’t feed this to a barn animal. Ordered the club sandwich with fries. Bread was soggy like a wet sponge and fries were ice cold. Tried to talk to them about it, but all of a sudden they didn’t speak English. What a surprise. Threw it out after one bite. Don’t waste your money.

Really small portion (nearly kids ones) for the price. Lots of paper bags with only one item in it.

I appreciate that this is a cultural icon - my grandfather revered this place in the mid-70’s but $48 for a poutine and a chicken sandwich h is just outrageous.Grossly overpriced and overrated.

Since it left Ontario a long time ago, I missed it very much. Nice to be able to eat it on a connection. Price is higher than in the city, but the hot chicken (dark meat) sandwich was very satisfying.
