The Mexican poutine was shockingly, crazy good! No, really! It was good! I’m from Texas, so Mexican food is a staple for me, and I spend enough time in Eastern Canada to have an appreciation for what poutine ought to be. I have to admit that I was very suspicious when I saw Mexican poutine on the menu of a pizza place in the airport in Montreal - it had a lot of reasons not to be good. Stopped here for quick bite while waiting to board. Place is call YUL Pizza, but everyone except me was ordering the Poutine.. The lone young man was working hard to move the line.. The pizza was ok, but should have ordered a poutine.
