Unfortunately, our pastries were very dry. I ate my mille-feuille (which tasted a bit like grocery store cake icing) but the Queen Elizabeth cake was too dry to enjoy. At this price, it is important to sell fresh products.

The pastries, except the donut, were beautiful but lacked freshness. We may have been unlucky... The baguette seemed to come from the grocery store or from a mechanical manufacturing technique. Hard as a rock the next day even if it was wrapped. Finally, although the lady seemed nice (a hello and a goodbye), we do not appreciate the fact of feeling obliged to tip for a simple packaging of our products...no other services or explanations products offered.

I have rarely eaten such a bad croissant... cardboard. We also tried two other pastries (pear tart and chocolate cake) and it wasn't very good. The pie crust seemed raw and the cake was super sweet without much flavor. With a rather cold welcome, expensive prices, we will not return there. Also pay the card machine with a tip of 15, 18 and 20% automatically, even though it's takeaway... really excessive Update: Following the owner's response, I put a photo of the box and the remaining piece of pie. I don't have the exact names, but I came and the "chocolate cake" was a sort of chocolate cereal bar with vanilla mousse in the middle. What's sad is that the owner reacts like this... I don't often post negative reviews, but here the croissant was really bad. Especially since 3 minutes further by car, we ate a delicious one. In short, good luck. Nb: it really makes me want to change the rating to one star... (but I'm not like that)

It was so hard that I struggled to bite into it, and it seemed either overbaked or outdated—it was impossible to cut, even with a knife. When I went back to address the issue, I encountered some attitude from the staff, who insisted that this was how it should be. Although she eventually agreed to replace it, I felt that a more open response to feedback would have been appreciated. I've tried this pastry before, and it shouldn’t be painful to eat. Overall, I wish the experience had been more positive. The attitude I received following my feedback was disappointing

We stopped there on the way to Sherbrooke. The sandwiches are delicious however the desserts are overrated. To put things in perspective, I guess it depends what you are used to. Having a french artisanal bakery next to my house, I expect more from my pastries.
