What a great find! I stopped by Boulangerie Dora at 799 Rue Principale, Eastman, QC J0E 1P0. It's a very small bakery, but you can tell it's a real labor of love.
Despite its size, they pack in a huge selection, with everything from flaky croissants to exquisite cakes. The coffee is top-notch and smells incredible. They also have a really great patio where you can relax before a trip. The whole place is spotless, which is a big plus.
I have to give a special shout-out to the woman working the counter—she was absolutely amazing! 😊
I highly recommend Boulangerie Dora! You'll find not only fantastic baked goods but also a warm and cozy atmosphere.
Unfortunately, our pastries were very dry. I ate my mille-feuille (which tasted a bit like grocery store cake icing) but the Queen Elizabeth cake was too dry to enjoy. At this price, it is important to sell fresh products.

Excellent donuts. Tim Horton can go get dressed. A donut with filling really has it in it. You just feel it when you pick it up, it's so heavy.
Very small cafe. For collection only. No toilet! But an incredibly large selection. Delicious.

The pastries, except the donut, were beautiful but lacked freshness. We may have been unlucky... The baguette seemed to come from the grocery store or from a mechanical manufacturing technique. Hard as a rock the next day even if it was wrapped. Finally, although the lady seemed nice (a hello and a goodbye), we do not appreciate the fact of feeling obliged to tip for a simple packaging of our products...no other services or explanations products offered.
