The food was really good! Loved the experience. The service was great too.

The waitress is really out of place. Too rushed, lack of courtesy and not easy to talk to. Maybe there's a shortage of staff, but at the price of the plates, that's no excuse. Otherwise the atmosphere is good and the hot stones give a little something special to the meal.

What a disappointment!
We had the seafood platter to share. We are not the type to criticize the price when the quality is there.
On the other hand, $300 for a white breast worth 10 euros, 4 shrimps, 1 lobster tail, 2 pieces of defrosted tuna, mashed potatoes and a few vegetables is exaggerated.
The shrimp were tougher than an overcooked steak.
Really, total disappointment in the quality of the food!
The service saved the evening.

As soon as we arrived we asked for a table on the edge of the window if that was available, we were assigned a table on the supposed "mesanin" with chairs worthy of BINGO. Very disappointing after asking to change places we were told that this was not possible since we were supposedly going to be disturbed by the large group. Disappointing a beautiful restaurant like that and leaving us to eat on uncomfortable camping chairs. We order a plate to share, we are told that we will have 2 stones to cook our meat, the meal arrives with only one stone, that doesn't work, we ask the waitress for a 2nd stone, she brings us another one and tells us sorry we have a big group, it's not up to us to pay for that. The waitress was super nice. We are very disappointed
During our stay at Esterel we had dinner at Rok.
This is the style of restaurant you try once in your life and that's it unless you're a multi-billionaire 😂
The view is magnificent on the water's edge, it's a beautiful place.
The service is impeccable, I got no no in my requests even they made a sangria with my recipe!
The starters didn't appeal to me personally but my husband had the iceberg wedge salad and it was really delicious but the sauce was very rich.
As a meal we had the land and sea platter to share and it was delicious. I enjoyed choosing my two side choices with my meal.
The experience with the volcanic plate is something to do once in your life.
We didn't have dessert since we were full.
The only really negative comment I have is the exaggerated prices...$52 for a pitcher of sangria is really expensive...a $300 dinner for the two of us.

They served us non marinated raw tofu to cook on a rock and charged 30 $. My friend had scallops for 65 $ and they do not cook well on a rock without any butter or oil. It was very disappointing and our server was rude as well. It has potential but I would not recommend

It was a delicious dinner. We took the table d'hôte for $49 including 3 courses.
What made the experience even more pleasant was our server William, very kind and explained the menu well as well as cooking on the stone. Nothing to say about its service. Thank you so much !

Yes you have to cook your meal. That's the concept!! People give 1 star because they are not able to understand the concept. We have been there several times and it is always excellent and pleasant. If you like raclette, go there without hesitation, you will love it.

I am disappointed with my meat, well it was the first time in this restaurant. Tough meat and not that extraordinary. We came with 5 guests and no luck, it fell on me. My wife did not finish her meat, and indeed her piece of meat was delicious…. I told my server that my piece of meat was not great. He told me it’s normal, it happens. Cool. A little disappointed with the response………
One of the best restaurants for dinner that I have been to. It was just amazing! We had the most beautiful table overlooking the lake in my opinion. We had the 3-course meal for $49 + taxes, but I was pleasantly surprised because we really had a large menu choice. We started with an octopus starter for my partner and salmon tartare for me. A delight! Then we chose the menu of dishes to share: we each had a hot stone plate where we cooked ourselves: a filet mignon, a lobster tail, a giant shrimp and pieces of Haloumi cheese. This included 3 excellent sauces (brown sauce, garlic butter and some kind of spicy mayo). We had the choice of 2 sides each on top of that. I had the baby potatoes with garlic butter and thin hours and the carrots cooked with spicy garlic. My partner got the baby potatoes and the potatoes gratin dauphinois.
All to finish with a crème brûlée with strawberry, blackberry and raspberry on top for dessert. It was the best I've eaten in my life, it tasted like heaven.
We also had some good drinks! Which raised the bill a little but still very reasonable.
Our waitress Catherine, if I remember her name correctly, was so kind and sociable with outstanding service.
Well done to the chef!!! But we really got our money's worth, we left with a full stomach, we're definitely going to go back, because the hotel is like a resort in the south without the palm trees and the turquoise water of course. but wowwww we loved our stay and your restaurant ?

Great restaurant! The meat is of excellent quality and tender.
The service is impeccable and the choice of wines is great!
The concept of the restaurant consists of cooking our meat ourselves on a hot stone, so ignore customers who complain that their meat is not even cooked ??♀️

Very nice experience. Good quality meat and good seafood to cook ourselves on a hot plate. Very expensive though. Excellent service from our friendly waiter Paul-Olivier.

Well, not something I'll ever want to do again. They do give you a rock and you cook your own food. Not very original, but we thought it could be fun. The service is really bad, they just really don't care. It's a shame, it's got great views on the lake, but the staff is just not up to it.
