Very good value for money and portion?
Ouch! $26.00 for 3 pieces of canned crab for a seafood roll. Osti de crosseur.....

I've been working in the area for the last two weeks and this place has quickly become a must. Everything I tasted there was excellent! If you're passing through Forestville and you're hungry, I immediately recommend a stop at this charming place. You will not be disappointed :)

Looking for a place for a seafood or shrimp roll —- this is the place (won best poutine competition). I ate it multiple times while I was in Forestville: great every time.
Great frozen yogurt with raspberries too – old childhood habits that I found here. Good hamburgers, fries: I can't comment because I don't like fries so it's difficult for me to say if theirs are good or not.
Family business with pleasant people who I would say ensure that the quality remains.
Multiple flavors of ice cream. Slush
Rather elaborate menu for a regular canteen. To my memory, the poutine mixes offered are out of the ordinary. Same for hamburgers.
Open seasonally, of course. A winter canteen would be a big challenge given the canteen infrastructure.
A few tables for eating outside.
There is generally a waiting line given the busyness.
I highly recommend the shrimp or seafood rolls. Don't be surprised, they are around $25, but they contain a lot of stock.
Atmosphere: it’s a canteen, ie a place where you mainly go to get your food and not eat it.
Parking: 6-7 places in courtyards and other places on the street.
Wheelchair accessibility: Land accessible from the road via a simple slope.

I'm from Forestville and I went to eat poutine with my boyfriend. In addition, I had seen that this canteen was one of the ten best in Quebec.
And I'm sorry for you, our poutines weren't hot because of the fries, I wonder if the cook thought of reheating our poutine by compensating with the sauce? Or cold cheese? We were disappointed...... the fries in the warming tray don't keep them hot enough; you should start with smaller batches so that your fries stay hot.

Great! There is the possibility of having lactose-free cheese in your poutine ?
We were pleasantly served (4) in less than 20 minutes, considering the time (7:15 p.m.).Excellent poutine, available in several sizes and several flavors.Oddly more efficient than another restaurant where we had to turn back…insufficient staff!
