First of all I’m just going to say I never leave reviews. Not that I don’t think the service or restos deserve it but I really just don’t think of it. I really felt I needed to make an effort because my expectations were exceeded and I totally believe the service ( and food ) need to be recognized. Me and my boyfriend often go eat in restos all around Montreal and one time we decided to go eat at Baton Rouge In GPK. Since then we have gone back and will continue to go back. The server , young gentleman that works on Monday and Tuesdays only , is AMAZING!!!! He is so attentive, ,friendly , efficient, and we could go on and on and on about how great he is. We never felt rushed and always felt taken care of . We had the porterhouse a few times to share and the t-bone once , and everytime it was cooked to perfection. The side dishes ( baked potato , seasonal vegetables and we always add added mushrooms ) were all amazing . My boyfriend, who is a big sea food eater , always takes the lobster tail , and claims it’s one of the best he’s had . The food was delicious and the service we had is really hard to beat . We would have never thought we would have had such a great meal/ service at Baton Rouge in GPK. We would recommend it to anyone who’s looking for a tasty meal ( take the porterhouse or tbone to share ) , AMAZING service , with an intimate environment for a VERY reasonable price to Try it out!! Not sure how it is on the weekends , but if you go on a Monday or Tuesday u won’t regret it ! A great service goes along way and when there’s amazing food you can’t go wrong !!!!

I visited 2 weeks ago, and was disappointed by the prices and portions, I was a regular customer to this restaurant, I am missing those old days where service, prices and generous portions were here.
The concept is good, but the management are missing something, guys please change something to keep this chain open !

Entree Calamari was over salted. Chicken Club sandwich was to salty. Change my fries for Caesar salad, gave me ice cold fries instead. Waitress had to make the change to being me my salad. Caesar said didn't have Caesar dressing... they used a house salad. Ribs were either burn or not seasoned. Order tenders, which was lacking seasoning and was wet with grease. Ginger Ale was flat

I have been to Namur baton rouge and I had really good experience. I ended up going to baton rouge thinking same but it was a huge disappointment

We went to Baton Rouge on. Friday at 5:00 O’Clock and it was perfect as it was still not crowded yet. I had the Crab Cakes to start and they were excellent. I then ordered the Chicken Burger with Fries and again was not disappointed!!

I was craving a pretzel and I decided to order it delivery. I know I wouldn't taste as good as it would in the restaurant but oh my God it was terrible. There was not a speck of salt on it and it was dry and crumbly. I ended up throwing it out, what a waste of overpriced $22.
Food was absolutely excellent 10/10
We got the giant pretzel , it was cooked to perfection and super soft . The burger was amazing and chicken club sandwich as well. It was all around excellent. Service was great and fast . Atmosphere and temperature were good and very clean .
Definitely 10/10 experience, will be coming back again .

Usually I take the raised sides but I let myself be tempted by the flank steak and shrimp! The flank steak was good but the hard shrimp probably overcooked! I'm going back to ribs!

The food is good, the recipes from this banner are tried and truly excellent, yet it's not quite the success it was: steak was under cooked for what was asked (rare blue rather than rare), mashed potatoes were overly garlicky, veggies were overcooked. The ribs were good. Service was impeccable though and the ambiance is enjoyable as usual.

It was so cold in the restaurant that I had to eat with my coat on. As for the food, I felt like I was eating frozen stuff from the grocery store. It was disappointing. The service was good.

Good morning,
We went to eat Saturday evening (February 1st), we were a group. I ordered the Pretzel which arrived completely burnt. Subsequently I ordered the sea bass with risotto which in reality was rice taken in bread, it was literally a lump of rice stuck together and hard. Our server mentioned it to the kitchen that it didn't make sense and seemed very uncomfortable having served this dish. In the end I didn't eat anything at all, which was very disappointing.

Excellent side dish but the rest very average without flavor! At least this one on Taschereau! There were 12 of us and we returned 2 plates but they weren't loaded! The waiter understood that the meal was not edible

We were a group of 12 people for our friend's 40th birthday. The service was very long, the bar was very slow, no one came to see us for 30-40 minutes (by the time our birthday boy arrived) and even once he arrived, we had to ask someone to take care of us. The food was very ordinary, the ribs rather dry, the pepper sauce on the steak terrible. The calamari was good though. In short, I think that for the price, it was not up to par at all. We felt practically invisible for an hour and a half while the restaurant emptied. 30-40 minutes before having a drink (we didn't even have water), is unacceptable.
