Very nice restaurant. We went for our work Christmas dinner and it was very nice. The ambience is very calm and music not loud so you can hear yourself talk well. Its a bring your own wine so thats a plus. Staff was very friendly and professional. Food was very good and well cooked. The desert was fun. I had the fried ice cream. Plates are generous and not too pricy. I would recommend! Very nice evening! Thank you!

Used to it for several years and always satisfied yesterday was far from our expectations, we arrived at 6:30 p.m. there was only a table of 6 people so with us it made 8. The waiter was present without ceremony to take. our order didn't bother to pour our wine. We ordered spring roll. It took quite a long time and then my girlfriend took it. Grilled chicken and beef and I grilled chicken and beef. shrimps.as usual very slow service and when our dishes arrived.my girlfriend was surprised it looked like grilled beef only the chicken was the same color as the beef we started our meal cold plate and our meats lukewarm. and hard the shrimp arrived dry we never saw the waiter I would say the plate carrier he never showed up to find out if everything was correct he spent more time in the kitchen than in the room at a time when he appeared I called him to ask him if they had changed chef, he quickly told us no and told us that next time we should inform him but we didn't see him at all and the restaurant was empty
Dessert was a scoop, I would say half a scoop of ice cream and a coffee, not lukewarm...but cold. The bill was $50.60 for a meal that was absolutely not edible.
Cold welcome, cold meal and dirty bill
I understand why the room was empty
So the Black Pearl is over for me.
Disappointing across the board.
the food was very poorly described in the menu, when we received our plates it was not at all what we thought. The service was a little rushed and lacked gentleness.

We went to this restaurant on the evening of the 12 Oct. I ordered the sea food plater which mentioned shrimp and scalops. The meal was very good but I could not find any scalops. Near the end of our meal a gentleman from the rest appeared and asked how everything was. I answered fine bbut I could not find any scalops in my meal. He replied that thay use very small ones. I said I did not find ay of those either. He left mumbling....If your not satified go somewhere else. My partner and I were flabergasted. That is the one and only time that they will see us there. It seems I have to chose and make remarks to post this so I will lie and chose.

We always do takeout so I can’t rate the service and atmosphere, though the food is always delivered quickly, but lately, my chicken and shrimp stirfry over a bed of fried noodles has been very bland. I used to always order this and could taste many flavours in the delicious sauce, but the last three times, it has had very little flavour, and today, the coriander leaves were actually parsley. Not sure what’s happening, but it makes me sad. My boyfriend liked his pad thai. Not sure I will be giving them a fourth chance. Seems like my favourite dish has left the building. Please go back to the original recipe!

I can't put less than a *
Take-out order for 2 people for $60:
Peanut Chicken: Medium;
Spring roll: $10. It has no taste and doesn't seem very fresh. The accompanying peanut sauce makes the very sticky, water-soaked rice paper go better;
Mango salad: $16 for a few tasteless bites. 2 shrimps were cut in 2 widthwise! Mind-blowing.
Nothing had any flavor.
For this price, we expected much better. We won't go anymore.

We discovered this hidden gem and went back in the same week. The dishes are all individually prepared and served. The lamb chops are the best I've had in a very long time. Cooked to perfection. The staff are friendly and welcoming. This is a Vietnamese restaurant that is a notch above. BYOB. Ample strip-mall parking ?️.

We regularly go to the Black Pearl, this evening we decided to order via Uber Eats, there was an error via Uber when calling the restaurant he checked our order and came to bring us what was missing despite the fact that delivery is only on Uber Eats! This restaurant listens to its customers. It’s the best restaurant, I recommend the salt and pepper seafood!
