Outstanding. Love fancy coffees.The food is just wonderful, bagel breakfast sandwitch amazing. and the friendly staff make the whole experience quite lovely. Must eat in to sit at the tables can't just coffee and waste the day away. Always find cute things to buy at the boutique for gifts for friends.

It’s a shame reading the few negative reviews of people that were upset because they couldn’t sit at one of the 7 tables they have, to drink a coffee... limited space for dine in only, very understandable and yet people still get upset and blame bad service.. how is a local business supposed to survive when someone wants to take up a table for an hour and spend 5 dollars..This is a wonderful place for a take out coffee, a dine in meal , or to browse the many beautiful decor items they offer for sale, oh and the service is impeccable . FYI folks, give respect, get respect❤️

Like other reviews, unwelcoming and rude, I was told right off the bat that we had to order breakfast if we wanted to sit, even though only 2 tables were occupied. I have never heard of such a thing. The restaurant Patate et Persil have no problem with serving only coffee.This place is set up as a café so why not run it as one, it was empty anyway! Ended up spending $50 for 2 people for 2 breakfast and 2 coffee. This place needs a more customer friendly approach to enforce their rule.

Really awful costumer service! They don’t even let you sit down if you aren’t eating food. As soon as we were done they shooed us away! So so rude! Never going back here! Don’t waste your money here.

Had a negative experience – the staff was unwelcoming and quite rude. I'm surprised anyone would choose to patronize a place with such unpleasant people running it. Unfortunately, they wouldn't allow me to sit in for a coffee, and the way the lady conveyed this was quite terrible. I won't be returning, and I won't recommend this place to anyone I know.

If you have a baby or a stroller basically you are not welcome into this bistro. They have made me and many of my friends with strollers feel bad. They’ve told me my stroller was taking up to much space for potential customers (I was the only person in the damn bistro). Coffee is good but service is cruel. My friends and I that have strollers or babies will be going to other great places in Hudson.

Juniper is a beautiful cafe in the heart of Hudson Village. I've been here a few times, and the quality has been consistent. I usually go for one of their tasty sandwiches, like the Monterey. If you do take-out, you can order the sandwich alone and if you dine-in, the sandwiches come with salad or soup. The coffee is very good, however on the last visit, it was not hot enough. I really like the decor and they have a nice selection of gifts.

DANGEROUS. Watch out if you have ALLERGIES.When ordering my dish I mentioned a specific allergy that I have. The waitress went to check with the manager and came back telling me that my order was safe.Actually it was not the case. I did have a very small bite and was sick all afternoon.This is DANGEROUS and clearly not serious.Although i asked for the order to be prepared again without the sauce that could actually get me straight to the hospital, i didnt even receive any apologies from the manager or the waitress.Won't return there, ever.

Very cute restaurant with great food. Unfortunately, they need to do a lot of work on their customer service. Abrupt / short greeting, almost seemed to be a bother when we asked to be seated. Sat at the table for a while before someone came to table to take order and ended up being about 4 minutes after breakfast time closed, waitress said sorry only lunch available now (even though we had been sitting and in the cafe for about 5-10 minutes. Not accommodating and poor customer service. Similar to other reviews I read. It’s a shame because the cafe is cute and food is good, but really does put a downer to your meal when customer service is poor at best.

I thought I'd share a recent experience I had at Juniper. It was pouring rain, and I came in with my baby and toddler for baked goods and a coffee after a stroll around town. We were hoping to sit but we were told immediately that we needed to order food in order to get a table. There were empty tables and it was a very quiet time of day. It was very disappointing, to say the least. I guess my reason for sharing this is to forewarn others who might be in a similar situation as me. We ended up eating outside in the rain. I've never experienced such poor customer service. Really grateful there are other places in Hudson that offer better service.

Went twice to eat here. The first time, ordered a sandwich and the food and service was excellent. Second time I ordered the Kale Waldorf and it was 95% Kale. Had to hunt for the rest of the salad, buried under a mountain of green.Staff member did not appreciate my feedback when I expressed my disappointment. Customer service failed that day.
