I have to first start with our waiter he was such a sweet guy he really did whatever we asked for with a big smile on his face. We were 5 and all of us enjoyed to eat here. I especially loved the grilled mushroom toast and the black cod😊

5 stars, 10 stars a million stars! Wow! It was our first time at Embers last night and I can’t wait to go back. What a great experience. The staff, service and modern chic décor all get an A+. The food…omg the food is to die for! I had the beet salad as an appetizer and the filet mignon as an entree. The filet was so tender I barely had to use my knife to cut, the potatoes left you wanting more, the veggies were cooked to perfection with a little light crunch. The seasoning was on point and beyond. Paired with a class of their Cabernet Sauvignon it was magical. This is by far (in my opinion) the best restaurant in Hudson and I’ve been to the others in the village several times. I can’t wait to discover more from their menu.

We stopped here on a visit through Hudson for the first time in a few years. I remembered eating a delicious hamburger here so I was really looking forward to renewing the experience. But what a disappointment. First off, the waitress who greeted us at the door had a rather surely manner, it might have been just been a bad day but that manner continued throughout the meal. We both ordered what I thought was the same hamburger as I had remembered from previous visits. I was extremely disappointed to find a large piece of hamburger meat and a slab of cheese on a bun, no tomato no lettuce no condiments of any sort. As I was eating, it grease was running down my arm, not juice but grease. I ate half of it but left the rest on the plate. When the waitress came to present the bill there was no acknowledgment that the meal was only half eaten except for the offer of a take out which I politely refused.! I was still experiencing effects of the grease that evening. Very very disappointed!

It's absolutely amazing! There was some hype in town about the fish n chips, so, as an avid fan of the dish, I decided to try it out. It made my Top 3 best in the world list, slightly edging out The Red Lion Pub in London. If you like proper fish and chips as much as I do, put this cozy little place on your list of "must try" restaurants. Everything was perfect from the moment we were greeted to the moment we left.
