Mikko is a rare and wonderful cafe. Finnish vibes in Hudson. Fantastic food, excellent coffee, and really nice people. The roastery is pure elegance, completely Baltic/Scandinavian vibe. Mikko is absolutely worth your visit. You won’t be disappointed.
I have not visited the cafe for a while, but I am reviewing the coffee beans. Mikko's Love blend makes the most consistently excellent espresso at home. I have started ordering it in 5 pounds bags because I love it so much. It produces a consistently excellent cup with my bargain home espresso setup with a mellow but flavourful taste.
I love this cafe and enjoy sitting outside with a coffee and bagel. The coffee is great and the baked goods are fantastic.
My only complaint is this smoothies - I’ve ordered them 5 times, 2 were DELICIOUS and 3 were essentially flavoured water. There is one girl who makes them amazing, and if you order from her you’re in luck- otherwise I sadly take a few sips and toss them. I’ve learned my lesson and will pass on these in the future, bur beyond that it...
