Tried Taverna for dinner and everything was solid. The chicken was juicy and cooked just right, and the sashimi was fresh. We sat indoors but the terrace looked really nice, worth coming back for. Quality food overall.

wow! i am honestly so happy we have a restaurant like this so close to home. the food is absolutely spectacular and FRESH. the cocktails were sooooo incredible and the service was amazing. seriously recommend this spot to everybody 10/10 all-around!

I reserved for my sister’s birthday and was very disappointed. 1. I made sure to tell the hostess that we were celebrating a birthday. Nothing was done to highlight this moment. 2. She ordered lobster biscuit. The biscuit was dry and hard. 3. We order the filet mignon and requested it be cooked to MEDIUM. It was served medium rare. We sent it back. So the chef takes each piece and grills them on both sides. The steak was no longer juicy and mostly charred. 4. The oysters were small and hardly had any juice. 5. The only good thing was the wine. 6. The bathrooms are shared by men and women. Therefore there was urine on the floor near the toilet. I had to hold my pants up to avoid getting urine on them. 7. The hostess offered a dessert when we told her we weren’t happy with the meal. How about have the chef or manager speak to us??
Total bill was almost $300.
Very disappointed and will never be returning there.

Awful! Reservations was at 6:30. They served us at 8:00 the entrees and the main course at the same time. In consequence there was so many plates on our table because of that that they had to switch us tables. We were only 4 with 2 plates each. Because the main courses were hot we ended up eating those first and entree after. They didn’t apologize about the situation or even seem to realize how ridiculous the situation was … the waitress also forgot a drink. They burnt something behind the bar and had to open front and back door so it was freezing in the restaurant with the draft. Never going back although food wasnt bad. Such a shame.

The three Tartares were OK with the tuna the standout, the salmon good and the beef tasty but not cut fine enough and a little too chewy for my taste. The three thin slices of pork belly were well cooked and tasty. The main course should have been the highlight as it was the rarely available Chilean Sea Bass. The tiny, a quarter pound.or less, piece of fish was totally overwhelmed by a robust Mediterranean sauce. The sauce was tasty but the very expensive piece of fish could have been any well cooked white fish. The fries were not as good as they used to be - standard oven fries available at any supermarket.

Am a visitor from Montréal and my cousin invited me to this amazing and high quality restaurant. I truly enjoyed the food and it was worth every penny. The service was excellent the workers were very friendly and helpful. Loveee!!!
