What a find in Joliette: an elevated pastry shop!
This is a European-inspired pastry shop, with flaky pastries filled with wonderful flavors. You will find traditional Paris-Brest (hazelnut cream), lemon-ganache tarts (a unique combination of flavors!) and other staples of a European pastry shop.
They keep an inventory in freezers: we had 2 fresh ones (1 lemon tart with meringue and 1 Paris-Brest) and 2 that came from the freezer: after 30 minutes at room temperature, the previously frozen one were just as smooth (filling) and crispy (dough) as the ones from the display case.
This is not a large retail space: they have items to sell, ready to go, but expect to be offered items from the freezer; they do a lot of business through catering.
Give it a try - for an elevated experience!!

Je ne connaissait pas cette boutique, jusqu'à ce que je reçoive un bon cadeau. Il y a plusieurs produits du terroir très intéressants et plus que délicieux. Du pain frais également délicieux. Le propriétaire est très sympathique. Il y a également des pâtisserie et des repas frais préparés et certains congelés. Semble y avoir une grande variété. Mais c'est pas pour tout les portefeuilles.
