Thai Express Restaurant Joliette

Food was fresh but soup was underseasoned. I would of prefered more professional service when taking my order, the person taking my order and the girl making the food seemed to be arguing in another language while I was trying to order. Pad Thai was very tasty.

I ordered a chicken pad thai, the chicken was gooey and full of hairs, almost no vegetables. My boyfriend ordered a Thai soup, no taste, no vegetables and the chicken was also slimy. I returned my plate, the lady was stupid and didn't even apologize. She made me a pad thai again but with beef. The beef was as gooey as the chicken. Worst Thai express! The food is terrible and it’s really expensive for the quality. After wasting $50 we went to get some McDonald's for fear of being sick if we ate the meat. Never again!

Takeout order for 6 people. And no one was satisfied. The general chicken tao mango, general chicken tao pineapple and pad sew broccoli... None had mango, pineapple or broccoli. Or if there was, it was in tiny pieces and in very small quantities. I joked that it was a broccoli Pad Sew (but broccoli was singular).

Only one egg roll (although it normally comes in a pack of two.)

A huge spring roll as big as a chair leg! It contained almost nothing but salad.

Normally I love Thai Express but this branch doesn't make me want to go back.

Unfortunately, the employees only understand the words on the menu. Don't ask questions or ask for anything more... They don't understand ?
They seem to close whenever they want too. It said 9pm, but finally they close the doors at 8:05pm and sweep the mop between your legs!

I love eating at this restaurant chain and I am never disappointed and last week I went to the one in Joliette for the first time and it will be my last time. The reception was more than mediocre, the lady does not understand French or English, it was lucky that the cook came to take my order.
Content of the food, when I arrived home I noticed that my meal was a little more than half full, the texture, the taste of the chicken tasted very bad and the chicken looked like rubber, it was a really unpleasant experience and more when I closed the lunch box before putting it in the garbage I noticed a strong and stinking smell and it went up to my nose.
It's absolutely frustrating to pay more than $20 for a meal and have to throw it away.

This is my first time eating General Tao at Thai Express and I was very impressed! the dining room is clean and renovated, I will come back to try more dishes.

Correct for lovers of stir-fried dishes. Good but nothing more. Expensive for the small amount of meat. 75% of the dishes are noodles. Charge $2 to replace the rice with noodles....weird but good.
