We enjoyed everything about our stop here. The hostess was lovely, and the staff provided excellent service and recommendations. We had a beautiful spot to sit and it felt lile we were at a seaside garden party.
The café and gift shop at the front, all inside the historic building made it great from start to finish!
A favourite stop on Route 132, which hugs the St. Lawrence River. Check site for seasonal changes to days when resto is open. In summer, the cantine/terrasse is open every day. Excellent kitchen & creative menu. Great bilingual pun for the sealburger (Le Phoque Bardot). There's a café in the attached boutique.
Very charming restaurant!

I was very excited to try the Côté-Est restaurant in Kamouraska after hearing great reviews. The atmosphere was pleasant and the wine, particularly a sparkling red wine, was a great discovery. I recommend the focaccia 100%, it was perfect and the pork rillette was delicious. The service in general was a bit cold, a warmer approach would have improved the experience. That said, I still had a good time in good company!

Beautiful bistro, very warm in the evening offering a bistronomic menu. Lots of beautiful local and fresh products highlighting the region (crab, mushrooms, wild boar, fish, oysters, wines etc.). Smiling and polite staff, not necessarily friendly. The service stuck to announcing the dishes and answering any questions as strictly necessary. For a solo experience in this type of restaurant while sitting at the bar, I expected something more convivial. Probably a more user-friendly experience with several people. 5-course dinner + wine for around +$200.
