Aya Lebanese restaurant

What a great experience. The food was excellent! Our waiter was knowledgeable and attentive. It has a nice hip vibe. I would absolutely recommend Aya as a go-to for Lebanese cuisine.

We walked in and were warmly welcomed by one of the staff — super friendly girl, Iranian too, which was a nice touch. We sat down, looked over the menu, and decided to go for one of the combo platters.

But here’s the weird part — they told us every adult at the table had to order a combo if we wanted one. Like, what? Usually people order what they want. Maybe one person wants a big platter, others want something small or nothing at all — that’s normal.

The server was nice, no issues there — it’s just a strange policy that doesn’t feel customer-friendly. Heads-up if you're planning to go: you can’t share a combo unless everyone orders one, which kinda kills flexibility, especially with groups.

Hope they rethink that rule.

We came here to celebrate a birthday and had high hopes given the good reviews found online. Unfortunately, our experience was extremely poor. To start, the service was painfully slow despite the restaurant only being half full on a Friday evening. There were several issues that we face. From our waiter not putting in our order for our mains quickly after appetizers arrived leaving a gap of over 45 minutes between courses, to bringing out a wrong meal (which he comped), the experience was quite frustrating. Not to mention the food itself which was absolutely not worth the price tag. The Fattouch was nothing to write home about, the grape leaves too densely stuffed, and the lamb was not prepared well and had an overly gamey flavor that indicates a prep issue. Well-cleaned lamb shouldn't taste like that. Overall, a very disappointing experience. Our waiter did apologize profusely which was appreciated but we cannot, in good faith, recommend this restaurant to anyone considering all the issues encountered. Even if he did a great job, the food itself is nothing impressive considering the price.

We were welcomed back like family and service is always top notch. They serve the best Syrian/ Lebanese food . We sat outside on the terrace which is enclosed . They recently bought all new outdoor furniture so it elevates the ambiance. Now I don't feel like I'm eating in a parking lot . Was wonderful all around .

The beautiful waitress with the curly hair (i really wish i got her name!) was amazing from start to end. She was SO sweet, so caring and the best waitress i've ever had. I left so happy because of her 🩷
