I tried the Bueno cookie (?), and it was cold and quite firm, while the Bueno bar inside was a bit stale and lacked its usual crispness. The cookie itself just tasted like a regular one—nothing special... I also wished the cookies were served warm or that they offered to heat them up. The lady serving is a bit cold and stiff with her service sometimes, making the atmosphere not really welcoming, however all the other staff is awesome! I recently visited Scrumpchies and was excited to try their double chocolate chip cookie, expecting it to be the star of the menu. Unfortunately, it didn’t quite live up to the hype. While all of their other cookies were absolutely phenomenal—bursting with flavor and baked to perfection—the double chocolate chip fell short. It was a bit dry, lacking the rich, fudgy texture you’d expect from such a cookie. The flavor was also underwhelming, missing that indulgent chocolatey punch. I think with some tweaks to the recipe, it could be much better. That said, I’d still highly recommend the store for their other offerings, as they are truly top-notch.

Had a sugar craving and decided to give this place a try. I went there for one cookie lol. Got the oreo one and so good no regrets at all. These are not the kind of cookies you eat in one sitting because they’re chunky and sweet but it hits the spot.
I ordered the box of 8 Mini cookies. While they tasted delicious, I kinda giggled when I saw the size of the cookies. I’m not trying to make this a negative review, but I just want people to have an idea of what they’re buying when they order the mini cookies. As seen in the picture, the cookies were about the size of my AirPods (3rd gen) case.

I’ve never heard of this company before but once I saw their cookies on TikTok, I had to try them. I chose to have them shipped directly to my home to see if their products would still be fresh and let me tell you, I wasn’t disappointed.
Let's get into what I ordered. By the way, all the cookies were soft, thick (just the way I like it), surprisingly still fresh and you can tell, they're made with quality ingredients.
- Choco Chip and Walnut: Very soft, it's sweet but not too sweet if that makes sense, big choco chips and walnut pieces and you can taste every bit of the main ingredients. I rate it 8/10
- Gluten Free Chocolate Chips: Unfortunately, this one was a NO for me. The texture was like I was eating sand, hard to chew not because the cookie is hard but the texture of the dough. I rate it 5/10
- Nutella® Stuffed Chocochip: If you're a Nutella fanatic then you'll love this one. Surprisingly it's sweet but again not overly sweet too the point your teeth hurts and the Nutella just oozes out, it's gooey and delicious. I rate it a 8/10
- Vegan Chocolate Chip: I was really hoping that this one would be the one because l'm always looking for vegan alternatives but the vegan chocolate chips cookie was one of my least favourite. It's something about the texture, the taste and it was to chewy for me. I rate it 5/10
- Dame Macadame: For macadamia nuts lovers, this one is for you. It's packed with big macadamia pieces and although it's a tad sweeter, it's not too overpowering. The dough was soft and it's everything you want in a macadamia cookie. I rate it 8/10
- Coconut Delight: I didn't enjoy the coconut delight cookie. Again, it's a texture thing although the dough itself is very soft, I just couldn't get behind this one. I love coconut but something was missing but on a positive side, It's not too sweet. I rate it a 6/10
- Birthday Cake Cookie: This was my first time eating anything "birthday cake" - I wasn't really sure how I would feel about it but surprisingly, I liked it. It's more sweeter than some of the other cookies but it tasted exactly like a birthday cake. I rate it a 8/10.
- Choco-Choco: Now, the choco-choco was everything! It tasted like a dream! (a good one) It's rich in chocolate just how it's supposed to be, it's a guilty pleasure in every way and l'm here for it. This one was completely gone in a matter of minutes. I rate this a 9/10
Did Scrumpchies lived up to the hype? Yes! Overall, I really enjoyed these New York style cookies. Each cookies are priced between 5,50$ - 6,00$ (cad) and let me tell you, they're worth it.
