Overall, Rockaberry has great food, a great location, and a great ambiance. The only thing that consistently takes away from the experience is the customer service. When you walk in, you’re rarely greeted, and staff often avoid eye contact or continue talking among themselves while customers wait. This leads to long delays even for simple pickup orders.
Recently, I ordered two slices of pie for Uber pickup and arrived about 45 minutes later, but the order still wasn’t ready. Had I not stop the waitress to tell her I came for a pickup, she would’ve continued to ignore me. When I finally received it, one of the slices even seemed off, with barely any apple in the apple crumb cheesecake. It’s disappointing because the pies really are excellent, but the lack of welcoming service makes it hard to want to return. I’ve once had excellent service from a guy named Simon, I believe. But very disappointing for the inconsistent customer service from the girls.
If the staff were more attentive and friendly, this location would easily match the quality of its food and atmosphere.

Save your time and avoid this place. There’s no customer service, despite the place being cozy, the service from the staff is cold and unpleasant. We left and went to the Rockaberry in Pointe Claire and what a difference. Do yourself a favour and avoid this location in Kirkland. If I could leave zero stars, I would.

Doesn’t even deserve one star. Went to dine in no one cared or acknowledged. Three waitress walking around inside the kitchen talking to each other and joking around. We sat there for 20 minutes and finally left. Terrible service and complete lack of attention. Don’t waste your time here. It’s only a matter of time before they go out of business.

Bought the pumpkin and pecan pies. The pecan was so dry no one enjoyed it. Pecans were overly cooked and the interior of the pie was hard and not smooth. The pumpkin pie was so spiced, that no one enjoyed it. At this price, will not be buying. Felt like mass production. Staff could learn a few manners. I was not willing to accept a pumpkin pie that was overflowing and burnt on 2 sides, and was dismissed by the man serving. Sorry unnaceptable.

Short-staffed. Good location, soup and sandwich were good, apple crumble cake seems half baked. The main issue is that they're short-staffed, so people buying take out and uber orders take priority over clients sitting there, I had to go twice to the cashier to order tea and pie, then to ask for the bill.

The bathroom is totally disgusting. Ring around the toilet and all stained by the drain. Mold in the sink. That’s a surefire sign that they don’t know how to clean or just don’t feel like it. Instead of putting the toilet paper in the holder, they have it laid out on its side on the counter beside the sink. We also saw one of the girls sniff the chocolate milk before using it. Appalling.

Came here for lunch with friends on Friday, September 19th, and had a great experience! The food was delicious, fresh and flavourful. The service was amazing, friendly, attentive, and made us feel truly welcome. Definitely planning to come back soon!

was my go to favourite spot until August 14 I had a girl with long brown hair serve me. The most disrespectful waitress I’ve ever met. So rude, used to go once a week now I won’t go back. The managers should really figure out a solution because I’m sure I’m not the only one.
