Buzz is beautiful, from its scrumptious pastries to its hand made pizza to its cases laden with so much eye-candy food. The owner, Peter, went out of his way to make us feel comfortable and as if we were the only people in the shop. This is a must-visit spot whenever you’re in Knowlton.
The food was excellent. The service warm, but not “hovering”. Enjoyable, relaxed meal. Knowleton is a delightful village.
The food is delicious. Each plate was unique and assembled with careful attention. Don’t skip out on dessert!!
Absolutely amazing food!! Staff is welcoming friendly! Stop by for coffee and their amazing tea biscuits or a meal. Highly recommend!
Best place to eat in Knowlton, and one of the best dining experiences we had in Quebec. Incredible selection of food for a relatively small place. Spanakopita and hame and cheese crepe were superb. All veggies very fresh. We had a gazpacho that was the best we’ve ever had. Highly recommended!
This was a really fantastic surprise. We stopped in for lunch as we were in the Knowlton area, and what a treat. Super pleasant staff, great mushroom soup, excellent crepe with ham and cheese heated up, my wife had a fabulous spinach spanakopita, with a celery salad ...two great cookies wrapped it up. Just a fun pleasant nice experience for lunch...
We traveled from WI searching for Three Pines and hoping to randomly run into Louise Penny in Knowlton. While we didn’t find Louise we did find the embodiment of her character Gabrí in a local bistro. The Chef at Buzz knows what the spirit of hospitality truly is. He made two Wisconsinites feel right at home in Knowlton. Buzz is a “must go” if you are in the Eastern Townships.
Buzz café is amazing! Great service, delicious food, excellent service and the staff is very welcoming! Definitely making a detour to Knowlton for Buzz!
We didn't know what to expect, and were just passing by when it started to rain and we popped in here. Wow, are we glad! The service and the food was terrific. I had a chicken salad croissant and the soup of the day - delicious! And I had a small lemon cake with lemon drizzle and a slice of lemon on top for the perfect dessert. This was one of our favorite meals.
Passing thru and stopping at the Bookstore, two sisters enthusiastically recommended Buzz’s for lunch. Did not disappoint! Crab salad wrap, ham and cheese croissant, ham and cheese crepe with maple syrup were all excellent. The soup of the day was cream of mushroom soup and shouldn’t be missed! Left with a few sweets for the road and was given a “fresh from the oven” Banana Chocolate mini loaf. The two owners could not have been more accommodating and engaging.

We drove to Knowlton PQ looking for Three Pines and Inspector Gamache. We found Buzz - a remarkable cafe with the most delicious food and baking. Take a day trip from Montreal and treat yourself to a little piece of heaven.
On a trip to Knowlton early in the season, we happened upon the most charming eatery west of the Atlantic. We are still talking about Buzz, and it is a key motivator in our plans to return to Knowlton. This charming restaurant, nestled into a group of establishments on Chemin Knowlton, is something you do not want to miss! We found the bright and airy, yet cozy ambience of Buzz to be uplifting and restorative in all kinds of weather. The welcoming good humor and graciousness of the chef and owner is probably what we remember most fondly, and yet unbelievably, his cooking skills outshone his personality! He offered a range of breakfast foods, European-style casseroles, and delectable cakes and pastries — all baked fresh every day. One day as I was eating breakfast, he brought a pistachio cake from the oven, which I returned a bit later to sample. Delectable! Although you will want to take it home with you, Buzz is an experience unique to Knowlton, an experience you do Not want to miss!
I used Buzz catering for my wedding and I couldn't be happier with the service. Normand was a pleasure to work with. He was so insightful for planning the food at a wedding and the food was beyond delicious!
Delicious food, beautifully presented. Courteous staff, excellent small touches like berries in your water glass. Go a little earlier or later than lunchtime (remember they close at 2 though, I believe.) We visited on a rainy Saturday and it was still crowded.
Food that is comparable to what I have had at Michelin starred restos! So fresh, so European, so delicious. The chef elevates bistro fare to a true gourmand experience. I ate in, but there was a bustling takeaway business with many fresh sandwiches, salads, light entrees to take away. And the house made desserts!
