If u love fresh cooked food & u care ab your stomach don’t waste your time.
Bought Griot plate. Emptied everything in the garbage. Rice tasted a day old. 4 tiny pieces of dry tatestless fried porc. Never again
** of couse the owners will reply and deny & say customers are lying.

The pork griot is really delicious!!

I highly recommend! We had 2 griot meals with red bean rice and pasta salad and we enjoyed ourselves!
The rice was perfectly seasoned and the pork was very tender, fell apart on its own and melted in your mouth.. mmmh! The plantains were just ripe and sweet enough to complement and balance the dish. The sauce
side dish was very tasty and what about the pikliz. Even the pasta salad was excellent!
Thank you for the warm service and a hearty and finger-licking delicious meal to say the least!

I went to get 2 griot dishes to take away, still served quickly and the service was very pleasant.

The quantity is good, it's a reasonable dish and a good portion for a meal, I'm used to having an extra for lunch in other places like this, but hey, that's me...

Honestly I didn't like the dish at all,
The textures and tastes are not the same as I am used to. But that's to my taste.

Sincèrement je ne sais même pas par quoi commencer. ? il y a quelques temps je suis allé acheter un plat de riz jonjon et poulet avec salade de macaronis la même façon qu’on me l’a remis j’ai du le mettre à la poubelle c’était pas mangeable et sa paraît que c’est de nourriture qui était là depuis plusieurs jours ce n’était pas frais dû tout le macaronis goûtait le surie et parlons maintenant de la propreté du restaurant que on regarde par les fenêtres salle sa nous donne aucunement l’envie d’y retourner ou même manger sur place les toilettes sont pas nous plus à la hauteur. Pourquoi c’est maintenant que j’ai décider de mettre mon commentaire c’est car je ne tolère par la façon irrespectueuse qie la fille m’a parler on sentait que je ne suis pas son enfant et elle doit mieux parler avec la clientèle si elle veut attirer de nouveaux clients déjà que c’est non achalandé. Je suis désolée pour le propriétaire du restaurant qu’il m’a déjà informé que c’est compliqué et qu’il n’ont pas beaucoup de clientèle et il y a des jours qu’elle ne peux même pas ouvrir sont restaurant en manque de staff. Mais là il faut communiquer avec la fille qui était là le 4 septembre 2024 avec une meilleure attitude la situation pourrait être raisonnable. ?

I used to live in Montréal-Nord, and now that I'm here, I was really happy to find a place where I could get my craving of griot satisfied.
I never found a griot so good!

The meat was crispy and so tender.
Definitely will continue to buy from there.
