Unfortunately our waiter Tin was completely absent. Food was good, but this waitor never came to check on us, asked if all was ok, if we wanted more drinks, clear our plates, smile or even speak coherently. I don't think I've ever had such a blatant incompetent waitor in my life. If I go back I will make sure Tin is not serving us. Thanks a lot. You didn't deserve the shitty tips you got.

Just not good, ordered take out and paid 86$ for 4 items. All the options on the menu were weird sushi items and they failed to have any of the classics. Not even California roll or a basic avocado roll. They each came with these weird sauces which would be okay if anything about the sushi or sauces were properly seasoned. Normally soy sauce has a high sodium concentration to help season the rice and fish. So everything just tasted bland. And 4 dishes with 4 completely different sauces that were either vibrant pink or different shades of beige. Nothing had salt in it. If you put a gun to my head I couldn’t tell you what was in any of the sauces. I love a weird sushi but everything can’t weird. Give me a couple cheaper classics and I would appreciate the weird things more. The team was very nice though. Would love to come back if yall fix these problems

Overall it was ok. Service was a bit lacking and would be nice to see the servers smile once in awhile. Sushi was ok but lacked in flavor compared to previous times. Surprised they charged for the small piece of cake they brought for my dad's birthday. First time Ive seen a restaurant charge for the dessert for the birthday person. Nice thing was it wasn't rushed and we could take our time. For an upscale restaurant I expect the take out food to be put in containers in the back by the waiter and not just hand out take out containers to whoever wants one. Also there was a cold vent right above our table that went on and off and when it was on I had to put my jacket on. My mom told them about it but nothing was done. Will try another restaurant next time.

Unfortunately we waited over an hour for our food. The waiter did not come see us once from when he gave us water/took our order to when we got our food an hour later. It also took multiple attempts to flag him down to ask if there was an update. There were plates of food sitting at the bar waiting to go out for 15+ minutes. It’s really too bad. The hostess did apologize, but it was only after we said something. The food was very good, it was what bumped the rating up. It’s not the best sushi we’ve had but it was good, it tasted fresh. We were very satisfied with the food. For the price of the food, we expect to be blown away and better service.

Tonight Feb 1, 2025 We sit in a small section near a window (in my opinion this section should be closed in cold weather) we chat with our coat on our backs We waited for the service They agreed to find us another place because we were very cold. We waited 2 hours for our dinner Usually the General Tao dish is very good Tonight the dish was more than disappointing. The meat was very dry and very difficult to chew. My experience this evening extremely disappointing. Zento for me will be on hiatus for a long time. Really unacceptable to serve us this food Everyone at my table who ordered this meal had the same experience The server was nice though.
Not only was food tasty but also impressed by the presentation 👌. Vietnamese owner, always a plus for me ☺️

We waited 40 minutes before finally flagging down our server to come over. It then took another 50 minutes to receive our food, although the restaurant was not full. The fish was lukewarm and not really good.
Also, while we were waiting, our server had time to serve four other tables and bring them their dishes, even though we were out of water. Two of those four tables finished their meals before we even received our plates, and I had to ask the waiter to bring us extra water because our glasses were empty.
I don't recommend this restaurant to anyone unless you want to waste your time and money.

Giving 2 stars purely because of the service. Went for a birthday lunch with my mom 2 days ago, showed up at 2pm sharp (they close at 2:30) and asked them if we could still sit for lunch.
The waiter allowed us to come in but was extremely rude and unfriendly the entire service. Really put a damper on the lunch and affected our time there. I would never go back and spend money here again solely because of the service experience we had..
They should just close for lunch at 2pm instead of 230 if we were that much of an inconvenience showing up 30 min before their break.
