The food was good - definitely a strong poutine game, but a little underwhelming for having been named ‘best casse-croute in Quebec’. The pogo was literally just a pogo-brand pogo, which we were surprised/disappointed about. I suspect this place’s strong reputation is at least as much due to the lovely family running it and creating an engaging experience as soon as you walk in the door.

The perfect stop after a day of hiking at Saguenay Fjord. Family owned for generations. Very kind and welcoming, they even offered recommendations in English when we struggled with French. The food was delicious! Creative poutine. Do not miss the hot dogs either!

If you're looking for the best hamburgers in Quebec, look no further, they're at Michelle's. Everything is homemade with fresh produce. In addition, you will be well received and very well advised on the choice of hamburgers ?. The ingredients are to be chosen to compose your personalized hamburgers. I highly recommend, a must stop if you are in the area.

But what incredible service! I arrived at the snack bar without any expectations and without knowing what I was going to eat. I asked to know what the house specialty was and was taken care of and served! It was incredible. A great gang of passionate and proud young people. Avant-garde with a lot of humor! I was suggested the steamed cheese trio garnished with bacon, poutine mixed sauce. It was a real treat! I recommend everyone to stop and take a look if you pass by! A great 3rd generation family business! Long live the snack at Michelle’s!

On the way back from the SEPAQ du Fjord before going to Quebec, we made a short stop without having any particular expectations and we left feeling satisfied and happy with our choice. The waiters and cooks are very friendly and give us recommendations!
