Very disappointing in several aspects. The choices are very limited and the cooking was terrible. Delay of one hour waiting for the main course and quality of the rendering was not up to par. Expensive price compared to what we find elsewhere, we didn't expect it against...

Disappointing Experience – Not Worth the Price
I had one of the worst dining experiences here. We had a reservation and waited at least 30 min to get seated. The prices are absolutely unreasonable compared to the quality and portions. I was served a tiny portion of fish (barely 50g) for $48, and the filet mignon at $68 was shockingly small – more like a sad appetizer than a main course. It felt like a huge scam. Save your money and dine elsewhere.

Subject: Disappointing experience at Le Saint-Laurent restaurant at Manoir Richelieu
It is with great disappointment that I share this experience, but it is important for me to highlight what happened during our visit to the Le Saint-Laurent restaurant at Manoir Richelieu.
As soon as we arrived at the restaurant, we were asked if we had any dietary restrictions. My friend, pregnant with her first child, made it clear that she had to avoid alcohol. This important information was therefore mentioned from the start. Subsequently, we were seated under the responsibility of the waiter Stéphane T.
Throughout the service, we felt a lack of attention and listening, probably due to the heavy workload of the server. We chose not to make it a problem so as not to ruin our evening. When my friend ordered a non-alcoholic mojito, she specifically pointed to the mocktail section and clearly asked for a "Virgin Mojito." Stéphane took the order quickly, without asking questions or confirming.
At the end of the meal, we received an invoice with several errors:
1. A 9oz glass of wine charged instead of 5oz,
2. A free dessert charged at $15,
3. The “Virgin Mojito” billed as a regular cocktail.
In trying to correct these errors, Stéphane did not take the time to listen to us. He responded promptly and seemed to downplay the situation. It was only after leaving the restaurant that we discovered that the "non-alcoholic" mojito had actually been served with alcohol, which is extremely concerning. My friend, who was pregnant, found herself in a very stressful situation, and the waiter, faced with this revelation, simply replied: "I don't know what to tell you" before removing the glass from the bill, without any real empathy or sincere apology.
We then spoke with Mathilde, the reception manager, who was very understanding and professional. She gave us two mocktails and refunded the drinks on the original bill. However, this response, although courteous, was not enough to alleviate our discontent.
What struck us the most was not the error itself, but the lack of consideration and care in the face of a serious situation. For a first pregnancy, every detail counts, and this event, far from being trivial for us, was stressful and disappointing. We would have hoped for a gesture commensurate with the seriousness of the situation, such as full responsibility for the meal.
I share this experience not to cause harm, but in the hope that this type of incident does not happen again. To err is human, but listening and paying attention to customers, particularly in an establishment of this reputation, are essential.
Is this version right for you?

Dining in a restaurant at an iconic Manoir was a truly wonderful experience. We booked our reservation early in the evening to secure a table by the window, which offered a magnificent view of the sunset over the St. Lawrence River. The food was excellent, nicely presented in a classic plating style. The wine list displayed many choices, and our versatile, multi-talented waiter shifted from server to sommelier, captivating historian, and skilled photographer. The ambiance of the Manoir, with its historic charm and elegant decor, along with the scenic view of the river, added to the overall enchantment of the evening.

I was just amazed by the atmosphere; magnificent view, best to go there during sunset to enjoy the view.
Talking about food, I wonder why this restaurant doesn’t have Michelin stars!!!
Tried the Foie Gras for the first time and it literally melted in my mouth. I would say it’s a must have if you are meat lovers.
Then had ravioli and duck breast. I never had ravioli that delicious. I think if I live by that restaurant, i would have gone there once in a month to have this ravioli. The duck breast was also delicious.
I want to let you know that food quantities were not satisfactory to me but it’s very common in fine dine restaurants.
Overall, It was an amazing experience, need to save money to visit that place again in next year.

Perfect evening at the Saint-Laurent: friendly and efficient staff. I recommend the cheese board and save room for the boreal strawberries for dessert.

Les plats en entrée sont fabuleux j'ai adoré les quatre entrées que j'ai goûté en deux soirées consécutives. Très gastronomique, les saveurs sont bien harmonieuses.

The tomahawk while expensive was enough food for 4 people and the most delicious steak I have had in a long time. The rosemary potatoes and carrots were an equal treat! Our server was attentive and lovely and accommodating to our lack of french language which was very appreciated.
