We had a fantastic dinner there. We ordered the chowder, a steak and the seafood linguine. The chowder was one of the best I've had in years, the steak was cooked to a perfect medium rare and the linguine was packed with fresh seafood. I came in with little expectation and came out blown away. The way staff was also incredibly attentive and very kind. We drove from Toronto and this meal was one of the highlights of our trip

Our dining experience here was truly exceptional and went beyond all expectations. After a long drive from Toronto and arriving without a reservation, we were so grateful that the staff welcomed us without hesitation. Their warmth and hospitality set the tone for an unforgettable meal.
The chowder soup is comfort food done right. Deliciously creamy with generous chunks of seafood. Balanced, satisfying, and unforgettable.
The mushroom and carrot soup was amazing. Never thought mushrooms and carrots could be this good. Light, earthy, and deeply satisfying.
The steak is absolutely phenomenal. The best. Cooked to perfection, juicy, very tender, and bursting with flavor. You can tell they use top-quality cuts and know exactly how to bring out the best in them.
The seafood pasta? Perfectly al dente, soaking up all that rich, savoury goodness. You could taste the freshness in every ingredient. The salmon was perfectly cooked — buttery-soft inside, and full of flavor.

More than generous portion of wine, finger-licking dessert (vanilla *wink wink*) and what can we say about the sweetbreads! Decadent. It melts in your mouth and you almost forget that they are throat glands lol.
We will return there on our next stay in Charlevoix, and we invite anyone who wants to have a good time with their partner, family or even alone to let themselves be tempted! Long live the Orchid 🕊️
