The food was not good at all. I had the fish and chips - very bland, nothing special at all and left me feeling a little sick when we left. My partner had the 8oz steak with poutine on the side. The poutine was okay, nothing special. The steak was cooked well (medium rare as requested) but didn’t taste good. He alap left feeling a little sick. Our drinks were very good (2 sangrias). Our server was so kind and checked in on us frequently despite how busy they seemed. Very pricey...
Warm welcome and excellent cuisine. We enjoyed the pork platter which introduced us to high quality regional products. The staff is keen to introduce these products and takes the time to introduce them to us. A great discovery!
Bavette at $37 too salty for my taste. The soup was served with a beautiful POM bread in its plastic packaging, like at Mikes, but Mikes costs quite a bit less. The entryway was full of fallen leaves that looked like they had been there since last fall, making it seem like the broom doesn't come out often.
