My wife and I went there for a weekend and stayed at the casino hotel nearby. Decided this would be a cool place to try and it was all right. We each had the steak dinner with fries and it was okay. We were told about that famous QR menu as well which gets the couple on their phone. You try to not use your phone cuz you're away on a special occasion and they get you on your phone over there as you're wondering why they wouldn't spend on a nice menu like other restaurants....
The food was not good at all. I had the fish and chips - very bland, nothing special at all and left me feeling a little sick when we left. My partner had the 8oz steak with poutine on the side. The poutine was okay, nothing special. The steak was cooked well (medium rare as requested) but didn’t taste good. He alap left feeling a little sick. Our drinks were very good (2 sangrias). Our server was so kind and checked in on us frequently despite how busy they seemed. Very pricey...
Warm welcome and excellent cuisine. We enjoyed the pork platter which introduced us to high quality regional products. The staff is keen to introduce these products and takes the time to introduce them to us. A great discovery!
