What an experience! The food was beyond our imagination but more than anything it was the overall experience. We are welcomed by Benoit and Stephane. The latter describes Benoît's dishes as masterpieces making the choice difficult. At the same time, he listens to our interests and makes suggestions. It’s warm, unpretentious and so pleasant. Be careful, their complicity can make many couples jealous! If you want some service, you'll get it and it's frankly refreshing! They are funny, knowledgeable and welcoming. We're not local but DEFINITELY we'll be back. In fact, it’s impossible to go to La Malbaie without going to Tandem. They clearly stand out!

We had a great time on Sunday evening. Warm atmosphere and decoration. Welcome and attentive service. As for the meal, special mention for our dishes: lobster mac and cheese, spaghetti with chorizo and wild boar sausage and for dessert, unemployed pudding, everything was delicious, we enjoyed ourselves. We recommend this restaurant with our eyes closed.

To coin a phrase from Top Gun Maverick, Benoit and Stéphan are where they belong. You will be greeted by Stephan who has an infectious personality and if your french is not as good as it should be you dont have to worry as he is just as capable in English. Through out your stay you will be visited by Benoit who has masterfully prepared the dish you have chosen. You can tell that all the dishes are crafted with the best ingredients and are all prepared fresh for you. Then there is the eclectic charm of the dining areas. Fresh and fantastic but for the true experience you will have to make your own reservations and check it out. It is a very very cool spot. Word to the wise, call and make reservations because if you have not, you may miss out!

Frankly ! After a week and a half in Canada (in Quebec 🙂) this is the best address of our trip!! The welcome is incredible, really!! Benoît and Stephan are adorable with a lot of humor, the food is delicious! And as a reminder for Stephan “it only rains on idiots in Brittany” 😉 Thank you for this moment of pleasure!
