A reference to La Prairie and a South Shore institution. Chicken over charcoal and ribs on the grill. Everything is delicious and comforting. Menu with soup and liqueur included or plate only. Prices are affordable. Fast and courteous service.
A cafeteria restaurant, forget the decoration, they put their budget into their A1 food...27$ soup, coleslaw, half rib, thigh, potatoes...the half rib is double that at St Hubert, Benny etc…it’s $30 at McDonald’s, and I’m still hungry.

On the negative side, lots of local people know it and as a result the place can be crowded to the point that I avoid it during rush hour, but if you do not insist on dining in carry out never takes too much waiting time.
