Must have experience for the family, they definitely have something for everyone. Fairly nice size gift shop with Syrup processing right inside.
Dinner is also available if you’d like, we had it as a part of our conference. The dishes were a fair size, served family buffet style.
There is also crêpes and syrup for dessert along with a syrup activity.
Very interesting. Highly suggest.
We took a group of 50 students to Érablière du Lac-Beauport and had an incredible time. The visit was the perfect mix of education and fun. Staff were friendly and well-prepared for a large group, making everything run smoothly from start to finish.
We learned all about the maple syrup-making process, from tapping the trees to boiling the sap. The kids were really engaged, and the demonstrations were simple, hands-on, and fun. But the real excitement hit when they got to make tire d’érable—hot maple syrup poured over snow. Watching 50 kids roll their own maple taffy was pure joy.
The meal was delicious and very traditional—everything from pea soup to tourtière and pancakes covered in syrup. Even students who don’t usually try new things cleaned their plates. For the adults, the maple beer was a definite bonus—light, flavourful, and a great taste of the region.
Overall, the sugar shack had a cozy, authentic vibe that made the whole group feel right at home. It was a cultural experience that felt both festive and meaningful. Highly recommend it for school groups or anyone looking to experience Quebec traditions in a fun and tasty way.
Everything was amazing

Good meal, the advantage in this sugar shack is that everything is not automatically cooked with maple syrup, you can add it if you wish, it's great for diabetics.
On the other hand, since when is tipping automatically IMPOSED? It seems to me that it is up to the customer to choose whether to give one or not, but above all to choose the %... this story seems fishy to me.

Organized trip. Warm welcome, clear explanations. Meals on site in a convivial atmosphere with local musical entertainment (singing and dancing). A good moment of sharing!

A very good evening. Out of season there is no real visit, an explanation with video background, then a mini product tasting.
The meal was great! Mixed with other groups to enjoy a convivial meal under the backdrop of a top musical performance. Everything is unlimited, even the pancakes with maple syrup for dessert 👀

A tourist factory to avoid.
Music way too loud.
There are so many buses that we no longer see nature.

I don't know if in Quebec there is an organization for combating fraud, but selling very bad Italian wine as house wine in France would be considered Fraud.
Really very interesting and beautiful experience. Externally in a beautiful context and with the foliage season everything is even more suggestive.
Typical tasty cuisine and impeccable service. French country atmosphere... pleasant and welcoming.
We also saw how maple syrup and butter are produced!
A museum hut with stuffed animals... completes the experience.
Kid-friendliness: An experience to do with children too

We were a group of 35 and had a wonderful evening at the sugar shack. The presentation was very interesting, the place is magical after dark, the meal was very good, the staff very pleasant and above all a great atmosphere with the music and dancing, the wood fire outside added the final touch to this beautiful evening.
